Liked: close to station

Disliked: its very expensive considering €27 a night and all you get is a bed

Liked: Nice place to stay when you are in Rome. Location short from Termini Station.

Disliked: We could not pay with our creditcard. That was the only point that was not very helpfull for us.

Liked: Location close to Termini station. Private en-suite double rooms.

Disliked: Kitchen very small and only open 7 hrs per day. One fridge, over full and not working. Door held shut with fire extinguisher! Only 4 gas rings and as no kettle or water boiler one of these often in use by someone making hot drink so only 3 gas rings for entire hostel. Worst of all, kitchen is only open 1500 to 2200. This seems to be purely to encourage guests to spend their money in the associated cafe/bar on the ground floor.

Disliked: Boys & girls in one room... The same bathroom for avery one. Bed is bad...

Liked: Very close to the train station and not too far from the main sights.

Disliked: Too overcrowded. Our floor had 50 people and 3 showers between us all. The rooms were too hot but sleeping with the windows open let in a lot of outside noise throughout the night. Staff were pretty rude - witnessed them argiung with customers twice and one time heard them laughing about a guy who was lost as soon as he left the reception area.

Liked: Athens on a budget, location was near train station and metro, staff were friendly and although the facilities were very basic, all that was needed.

Disliked: Room was very small, very hot and only given one sheet per bed.

Liked: This hostel was literally right around the corner for the train station and was a decent price compared to everything else you will find in Rome.

Disliked: The stairs! Elevator was to small to carry me and my luggage!

Liked: very nice hostel, lots of facilities as wifi free and a kitchen free for use. location is nice, just a 5 min walk to the main train station: roma termini. lots of shops nearby, grocery stores. Big plus about this place is the very comfortable ambiance, friendly staff and also the co-travelers were during our stay very cool.

Disliked: nothing

Liked: It's a proper hostel, so the staff is friendly and can speak English. The rooms were modern. TV, air cond. Clean and close to the main train station.

Disliked: the shower had NO power at all. If you are a girl, prepare yourself for shower time. It was awful. They don't have lift and the building has 3 floors.

Liked: Beds were good. Loved the location. Very friendly staff.

Disliked: Only complaint was the noise from the street was very loud. The room was very hot so we had to keep the window open.

Liked: Its location is excellent, just 3 minutes walking from Termini Station, where there are lots facilities, and 20 minutes walking from Coliseum. Breakfast was avaible for 3 Euro and in the kitchen, despite being durty, there were the facilities of oven, cooker, microwave and frigde. Staff was helpful.

Disliked: It's really durty. In the toilets basin and drain were blocked, there were no handle for clothes and there was an urine smell whatever the day's time it was. In the rooms there were no wardrobes or lockers, there was just one socket for 8 people, no mirrors and the floor was durty. The building needs renovation.

Liked: It was close to Termini and in decent walking distance to most major sights. It felt secure and the staff were helpful. Different maps, with more street names would have been a little more helpful. Beds were clean although bunks were really rocky and shakey with any movement at all.

Disliked: I had some issues with hot water being available in showers/basins at various times of the day. Lights within the enclosed communal shower cubicles were not usually on and switches nowhere to be found, which meant you'd be in pitch black darkness if you needed a shower. No curtains/blinds in the dorm rooms. No air conditioning - even a fan would have been great? NO HAND SOAP in the bathrooms/toilets/kitchen which is quite unhygienic. Female separate bathroom constantly flooded with water and toilet cistern above leaking. Dorm floors were often dirty with sand, crumbs etc (even after cleaners had been). Email confirmation via hostelbookers.com with directions not as accurate as those on the actual hostel website. This could be updated to indicate that "main exit" means via Marsala. No access to lift which meant lugging bags up and down several flights of stairs - advertisement of this would be helpful.

Liked: Best thing about this hostel were friendly faces, happy and willing to help. Definatly the staff are the biggest asset to the hosel.

Disliked: Mixed room had 6 guys and me ( female) would have been better if they had more females in the room and there was no lock on the bathroom door.

Liked: the location is great and the stuff is nice and helpfull

Disliked: the smell of urine, that there is no common room and that there are no organised tours ect. There are no lockers in the rooms!

Liked: the location was amazing. It was just a minutes walk to termini, the main train station in Rome. I only had to use the metro twice to get to the Vatican and back but you can easily walk to the Coliseum, the Pantheon and many other popular places.

Disliked: The toilet/shower room was very cramped. The luggage room was tiny and i found it difficult to get my rucksack out because it was squashed in.
