This hostel is much better than others in comparision to cleaniness and standards, and I would really recommend for budget travellers.

My baggage was delayed at the airport. The staff were very helpful in phoning up the airport and tracking it down for me. Note, although there is plenty to do in Rome, the hostel doesn't really have any couches to read a book if it's a rainy day etc. All in all though, good size rooms, a cosy bar and helpful staff.

Dont even think about another hostel in Rome, Alessandro Palace should absolutely be your #1 choice

We, a group of 50+ women from The Netherlands had a lovely stay at the hostel. We liked especially the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (big daddy from Australia).

The friendly staff, thanks Sam, Marco, Elvis & Dane. Had a blast. Thanks for all your help with my questions. The location was good. There are 4 floor so if you are lucky you will be on the 1st floor. Showers in the room which is great. It was good having the bar on the premises also cause you don't always want to go out. There were a few noisy nights from people coming home but it is a Hostel.

The bar in the evening was a great place to meet people and share your travel experiences/tips with at the end of the day. However, the location was not the best...near the train station = sketchy!

Directions to the hotel were perfect. The people were great, breakfast was great and I really enjoyed staying there. If I am in Rome again I will definitely go there again.
