Disliked: breakfast with old bread 8.30 open was not good no wifi on rooms of 2e vloor

Liked: The architecture, history and atmosphere of the convent and the whole city.

Disliked: No bar , restaurant or cafeteria at the hostel. Not many fun activities for tourists. Not fully using the potential of the space and garden.

Liked: This is well off the beaten path and in a charming city close to Ravenna but certainly not IN Ravenna. I was a bit surprised about this when I realized. It is TWO train stops away (about 20 mins). The town is quiet and so is the convent. There were only 4 people total staying there. SO that meant I got an entire 6 person room to myself. There is TONS of space and it truly feels like a place of meditation. The staff are AMAZINGLY helpful. I booked a mani/pedi through them, and they were forever answering questions for me. Downstairs is one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Italy. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff is awesome. Overall I was happy with my stay.

Disliked: They only issues I had were the location being so far from Ravenna if that isn't what you're expecting and that the desk isn't open that much.... I think it closed at 11 am or so and reopened at 4:30. ALso the place is locked down at 11:30 or so which meant I couldn't access the Wifi later at night.

Liked: This is a lovely quiet place to stay, close to the railway station and situated in a small friendly town. You can hire bicycles and the staff were very helpful.

Disliked: It is 30km from Ravenna so do not stay here if you want lots of nightlife
