Liked: Great breakfast, clean and helpful staff.

Disliked: The directions given by the hostel were very poor so we had to phone them and get help with finding it. I would email first to get more detailed directions. Also uncomfortable mattresses.

Liked: Great downstairs common areas, extremely friendly staff, best breakfast so far (included coffee, fresh fruit, sliced meats, toast, bread, cereal, muesli, juice) and it's included in room price.

Liked: judging by the photos, i thought this place might be a party hostel, but thankfully, it wasn't (i did'n't think Ravenna would attract that sort of people). It is located within walking distance of the train station, about 15 minutes, and there is a supermarket located directly opposite. It's mostly older people who stay in this hostel (over 50), and there is space even for families (there was a children's play area!). the breakfast was good, the first time i've seen cakes and biscuits on offer for breakfast. all you can eat. the wireless wasn't working at the time i was there but they had ethernet. if you're in Ravenna to explore the mosaics, you can walk to San Vitale first, and make your way back towards the hostel, so you don't have to walk too far at the end of the day. the main thing i disliked was that the hostel is closed during the day from after breakfast until the early afternoon so you can't get in to get your things during the day. there is also no kitchen but there is a microwave.

Liked: Open, airy reception and lounge/dining area, nice personal touches to the colourful decoration - not just a white-washed 60s appartment block - friendly staff, served by bus route into town and to beach

Liked: The Dante Hostel is a big place, can be crowdy, but off the season is very nice. The staff is great, they are very very helpful and friendly. The rooms are quite poorly furnished but the common space is hudge and there is a park just outside the hostel.There is also a supermarket just across the street. It is quite far away from the centre, about 20 min walk, but you can also take a bus to get there.

Liked: Good breakfast. I was there on the first week off-season, and had a 5 bed room with bathroom for myself. A little far from the center, but on a walking distance if you dont mind a 15 minutes walk. Very good value for money.

Liked: It is an okay place to stay, on main road between beach and town so convenient, but it is stupidly hot in the rooms. Free breakfast is great however, and the staff are helpful.

Liked: cheap, a bit far from the city but reasonable as close to supermarket which made self catering easier. there wasnt a fridge which was annoying but the staff did povide an esky wiht ice blocks upon request

Liked: it was clean, there was heaps of room in the rooms, lockers of everything that was of value, really friendly and helpful staff and quite a good location, near the busses for the beach and the centre (although that was within walking distance)

Liked: it is easy to reach from the station and is close to a supermarket.unfortunately they have no kitchen which we missed a lot but instead it was possible to buy mic.wawe food you could heat up yourself.also they were able to serve cold drinks which were most wanted after walking inner town the whole day in the baking sun
