Liked: The people were amazing! So friendly and helped with anything you need. great big breakfast every morning as well! The rooms are clean, big, great view of the ocean and city! A lot of security it's like living in your own little apartment. The bus stop is right outside the gate which made things a lot easier. No curfew! own little beach (after a bunch of stairs lol)! I found not one thing wrong with this hotel!

Liked: This is a place for those who would love to really feel the atmosphere of Positano. The family makes you feel right at home. Only advice is to stay awhile and enjoy! Great view, great value, great people!

Liked: The room was huge - 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. It has a great view, is quiet and clean. It was a 15 min walk to the center of town, but it's a gorgeous walk. Or the bus stop is right outside. Breakfast was great - the food kept coming. Gilda and her daughters were friendly and fun.

Liked: The family that owns the hotel really make you feel welcomed and like you are at their home not their place of work. The view from your terrace is breathtaking and you can't go wrong here!!!

Liked: This guest house was fantastic. Was in a great spot looking back at the town of positano. Was with a group of 3 and we had a great time. Great value for money and very friendly service with a nice big breakfast.

Liked: the host Daniella was bubbly, welcoming, and very helpful. There is a private beach about 5 to 10 min walk from hostel. I would highly recommend this hostel others.

Liked: The best thing was the lovely host - very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast provided each morning. 5 minute walk down to a beach. This was an excellent location - an easy 15min walk downhill into Positano or there are hourly buses. If you have a car you can park it on the road for free (a major bonus as parking is scarce and expensive in the Amalfi coast area). Nice tidy little unit with everything you need. Highly recommended.

Liked: This Bed and Breakfast was extremely friendly, with a welcoming family atmosphere. The B & B is a 15-20 minute walk in to the centre of positano along a steep cliff road, but there are frequent bus services if you don't want to walk. It was actually preferable to be away from the main centre of the town, to really enjoy the peacefulness of this place. The apartment was very spacious and had great views overlooking the bay, which aren't fully appreciated by the shots on their website. This b & B is an excellent place to base yourself to explore the Amalfi coast and the owner is extremely helpful providing local travel information etc. A generous breakfast was provided and happy for us to collect our bags at the end of the day after check in - even providing us with iced water for our onward travels. This is not the most immaculate B & B we stayed in in Italy, but a great option for staying in what is a very expensive town. Beware the sea-front restaurants and head for the more discrete options.

Liked: This hotel is out of positano by 20 min walk however for the view from your appartment its worth it. All down the coastline. And the family running it are amazinginly friendly and can't do enough for you. Very relaxing, didn't want to leave and would definately go back.

Liked: Holiday House Gilda stood out as one of the best places we stayed while travelling - the owners were so lovely and friendly, there was such a good feel about the place. We were spoilt with a huge breakfast each day and our rooms would be clean and beds made when we returned home! The rooms were really big and very clean, fantastic bathroom and AMAZING views, and so cheap compared to other hotels in the area!! The location was a short 15 mins walk from the beach, the walk was always welcome with its spectacular views, and you walk through all the main shops on the way down. You can also get the shuttle bus which comes frequently if you don't want to walk - the owner has all the timetables for buses, trains etc in the area. She was so helpful and went out of her way to look up times for trains etc we needed to catch on the next leg of our journey and also drove us with our suitcases to the bus stop to ensure we got ther in time - absolutely 5 star service! I will definitely stay here again next time.
