Liked: Lovely family room. Beautiful decor and excellent breakfast.

Disliked: Pisa is a one trick town. Once you seen the cathederal and tower there is little to attract the tourist. Trains to Viareggio and Lucca for €5 return were great though

Disliked: shower drain was backed up. too noisey to sleep at night. breakfast was leftovers with dry/stale cheese & turkey shavings. door was very hard to oped with key. room looked NOTHING like the picture advertised

Liked: Centro storico was easy to find, clean and had great character (. Frescoed ceilings, antique furniture, etc). It was an EASY walk to the train, tower of Pisa, and river. The breakfast was simple, but offered made to order cappuccinos/coffee drinks. We stayed only 1 night, but it was festa di reppublica, and so we were treated to a late night symphony which was just a block away. The main street below made it a bit loud, but had it not been a holiday we were assured it wouldve been much quieter. Overall a good value, friendly staff, great place to set off to see the tourist sights.

Liked: The location was near to the university district with lots of reasonable bars & cafes' We liked the atmosphere of this location, and also not too far to walk to the train station. The breakfast was really good with a selection of bread, croissants, pastries & cakes. Bed was very comfortable & plenty of clean white towels. Was excellent value for money & would certainly stay here again.

Liked: Centro Storico is a nice little hotel in the centre of Pisa. The building is old and has a lot of character. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is much better than in a lot of similar hotels.

Liked: Serious bed bug problem. The breakfast was awesome and if they got rid of the problem, it would be lovely. However, there was noone working at the hostel in the middle of the night to put us into a different room (and hence we slept on the floor in the hallway) and both my friends have need medical attention due to the bites they received.

Liked: Wonderful genuine rustic feautres. Beautiful double room with wooden beams in ceiling, comfy bed, beautiful huge en suite with double shower, big mirror, old fashioned shutters on the windows, warm. Great breakfast included and fantastic location.

Liked: The bedrooms are good, clean, breakfast all right. The only negative point was the noise! As the street is very animate, it was difficult not to hear the passers-by. But the reception and the wise advice of the receptionist were considerable.

Liked: Lots of character, we had a four poster bed and fresco on the ceiling! It's quite a basic building but clean comfortable and the freshly made coffee at breakfast was nice. Central location, five mins from the airport by taxi and only 10 mins pleasant walk to the tower etc

Liked: Well, mixed reactions for this hostel. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of variety. The place as such was good, room was in traditional style with beautiful chandaliers but never expected BED BUG !!! Lots of bed bugs which was really annoying. Staff could not speak English. Other than that, it was fine ...

Liked: Location close to all amenities by walking; train station, shopping, grocery, sights. IF staying in a room on the street side it can be a little loud at night. Place has lots of character. Unfortunately, the internet was not working and no lift. Overall good place for the time there.

Liked: The hotel had a fantastic atmosphere with its old and historic arcitecture. All rooms different furnitured. Coldn`t be more centrally placed, directly in the shopping area and only 10 minuttes walk from the leaning tower. Would defenately choose this B&B again, for both families and a romantic stay for two.

Liked: The B&B is very centrally located, handy to the train station and to the main attractions of Pisa. We had a nice large bedroom; there was a bit of noise from the street since our room was on the front side, but with the shutters closed it was not too bad. The breakfasts are great with a good selection including lovely danish pastries. Staff are friendly and helpful, although don't speak a huge amount of English.

Liked: This B&B was located in the pedestrian zone and was easy to get to the main sights and also eating out. We couldn't speak any Italian (the staff can only speak little English) but that's our problem for not learning or trying - the staff were extremely friendly and helpful though. I would recommend this place as it's good value for money and very authentic.

Liked: The breakfast was fantastic, location was on one of the main strips in Pisa. Has good shops in the area and only 10 mins walk to the Tower of Pisa. Was great with having two children with us to be so close to that and the train station.

Liked: The central location of this bed and breakfast was great. 5mins from the station if you turn right and 10mins from the tower if you turn left. Rooms were cleaned every day. Air conditioning unit was a bit noisy...but I still slept. Breakfast was fine, toast, cereals, yoghurts, danish etc etc. All in all a good value b&b with a great location and I would recommend it.
