Customer reviewThe hostel is close to the train station and was easy to find. The room was clean and had air conditioning. The bathroom was clean but there was only one which we had to share with 6 other rooms. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. |

Michael LarsenThis hotel is very good for a short stay in Pisa. The hotel is located 10 min from the airport ( on foot ) and about 100 m from the main station (also on foot). The trip to the Tower is a 20 minutes walk. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also very nice, going from cereals to cake and sandwiches and FRESHLY brewed coffee.. |

milan remacModerno hotel is situated approx. 3 min from train station and approx. 20 min from the leaning tower which is good since you can stroll around Pisa and find another less crowded places ei Guelpha tower or Church S.M. de la Spina. Staff is indeed very friendly and helpful. bigger supermercato is located approx. 8 min walk from the hotel ... I would recommend it to all young people and backpackers who are looking for a nice and easy going place in Pisa |

Customer reviewReally really close to the station but the walls are soundproof with doors closed so there was little to no train noise. Easily walking distance into the sights of Pisa |

Customer reviewIt was a good stop off point near the airport and station. The budget rooms are fine with a decent bathroom on the corridor. The area isn't great in the evenings but during the day it is an easy walk through town and across the river to the sights. Breakfast was better than most. |

mohd hazim mat samanat first, i would like to recommend this hotel to anyone...the female receptionist is very kind and helpful and even gave us hot water to drink when we requested it. however, my perception changed 180 degrees when i had bed bugs all over me during the night. i was so tired and tried to sleep. but my sleep was gravely disturbed by the bed bugs (a type of bug that suck your blood and live in the bed and will cause itch after it sucked your blood) and the male receptionist just ignored me and said he didnt understand what i said. i even showed him the bug, the blood spots on bed where i killed the bug and i even showed him my face that is red all over and full of bites (looks like mosquito bites) and he STILL said he didnt understand. it came to me later that he just want to cover it and didnt wanna do his job. this is the worst hotel. dont go to this hotel unless u wanna get bitten by bed bugs after a long day journey. |

Leslie GriffithsA very friendly family run property. The staff could not do enough for us. The room was clean and fresh toweling every day. The only criticism on having booked the cheaper of the rooms was the shared bathroom and lack of tea/coffee in the room, having said that, we have stayed in dearer hotels at home with comparable rooms which have been below the standard of the Moderno. It is close enough to walk to all the sites you will probably want to visit. It is 3mins walk from the railway station and once in the hotel you could not hear any trains passing in the night. There is a vast choice with the self service breakfast and the staff are always on hand to top up coffee, milk etc. Only criticism concerning breakfast is the toast making facility - they could invest in a toaster for British guests instead of a sandwich toaster. We would certainly use this hotel again. Very well done Moderno staff for your hospitality. |
