Customer reviewI can tell that the peopple over there are very cain and help you a lot , the breakfast its realy delicios . The only convenient maybe the bedroom look old with other fornetures will can made a change. But I tell you that for one night was relly good stay in the Moderno Hostel. The hostel is realy easy from the train and bus station. thanks |

Customer reviewThis hotel is within easy access of the airport, rail station, bus facilities in particular and the town in general. The breakfast had a reasonable amount of choice and the coffee was good (a great pity no drink facilities were available in the room!). The staff were friendly and quick to help on any issues. |

Lindsey WineThe rooms were very clean and the beds were so comfortable, which makes a pleasent change from other hotels. All the staff were helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent location for the train and bus station and not too far to walk into the centre of Pisa. |

susan hollandsStuart and I stayed in 2 of the cheapest rooms - one while we were on our way to do the Cinque Terra Trail and on the return. The family who run the hotel were very friendly and helpful! It was clean and the breakfast room/bar was very traditional and cosy and the breakfast bar had lots to choose from. The location was ideal, only a short walk from the main bus/train station. The 1/2 walk to the Tower of Pisa was full of interesting sights, shops and places to eat! After we booked out we left our suitcases in the luggage cupboard while we took one last stroll along to the tower. We even walked to the airport when we left - only 1/2 hr. at the most. All in all it was a lovely stay. |

Customer reviewVery friendly spanish speaking staff, excellent variety in the breakfast buffet (eat as much as you like type), good location for train travellers (very near the train station) and also for everyone, because the bus stop to the leaning tower is very near the hotel. Incredible well sound proof isolated room with very good double glazed windows. In spite of the train station nearby or the airport about 1 km away, no noise was heard inside the room of trains or planes. Inside the room there was a very good air-conditioned equipment (very important in Pisa in summer!) with remote control with the posibility of setting its temperature or operating hours to freely and completely suit the needs or wishes of the visitor. Our room was in the first floor overlooking a quiet garden and had washbasin, mirror, hair drier, tv, telephone, table, chairs, wardrobe and curtains and bathroom amenities (including shoe polisher). The shared bathroom was next door in the same floor, it was always very clean and big enough, also with window. In the hotel there were also families with children and other young couples. I would recommend it and would stay there again!. |

Shirley StevensonStaff were very helpful, cheerful and informative. Breakfast was very good: self-service continental buffet and staff re-filled items when asked. However, I did think that the bathroom amenities were very inadequate: only 1 combined shower and toilet for four rooms, i.e. possibly 8 people sharing bathroom; not very nice if you happen to be at the end of the queue or simply need the toilet when the bathroom was occupied by others who were showering. I feel that this completely let the hotel down. Also very noisy at night as people visited the toilet throughout the night. Hotel is relatively close to the railway station, which, in fact, backs onto the hotel. Airport is only 20 mins walk and easily accessible. However, shutters and adequate double-glazing kept that noise to a minimum. Rooms were cleaned to efficient standard although furnishings were dated. Value for money accommodation and I would re-visit. Reccommended for back-packersn or cheap-budget holidaymakers. |
