Liked: It was quiet and out of the way. Internet access.

Disliked: The room was dirty and the bathroom was a deathtrap when wet. Was expensive for the atmosphere and location.

Liked: Great location and having air-con is a huge bonus for those summer months

Disliked: There is only one bathroom on the top floor and it is like a sauna - you're sweating as soon as you get out of the shower and feel like you need to jump back in again!

Liked: I had an awesome time at this hostel, I\'m bummed that I only stayed one night. The staff was super helpful, the owner cook barbecue in the garden with with swimming pool for us!!

Liked: Pretty poor. I emailed them at when I booked over a week prior to arrival, to ask about their offer of free pickup from the airport. They hadn't responded by the day before we arrived so I had to call from overseas and the guy said that if they received an email then it was all arranged and they'd be there (he said this even though he didn't check anything). I gave him my details again and he said to email again to make sure anyway. I did. They weren't at the airport. I called and someone who barely spoke english answered and basically said the guy who picks up people at the airport was out so call back later, which I couldn't. That was a load of crap. We ended up catching public transport in and the girl there didn't even apologise.Staff are aweful. Two emails and a phone call to confirm their 'free offer of pickup from the airport' and they still weren't there. When I called from the airport the response was pretty much "too bad", likewise when we got to hostel by public transport. There is never any staff there, you have to call them from a phone on the desk (which means the front door is always unlocked). There isn't any kitchen or kitchen facilities at all, and no breakfast although they do have free tea and coffee, yet no milk or tap to fill up the kettle. No blankets, just a blanket cover and sheet. This is particulaly bad when the heater needs the staff member who is never there to turn it on but it only stays on for half the night. Good points: the bus stops right outside the door and also goes to leaning tower, train station and airport; free unlimited internet was good, there's one computer plus they have wifi; the building decor was interesting. Basically I would look well elsewhere first, and I certainly wouldn't stay here more than one night.

Liked: Very easy to get to from the airport. 20 minutes on the late night bus 1.50 Euros. Only 10 mins walk to the Leaning Tower. Security a major concern. No lockers. Staff could only be contacted by phone on arrival. The two guys I was sharing with disturbed me through both nights of my stay. On the second night they had girls back in the room.

Liked: TV iinside dorm rooms is nice. Clean modern bathroom for dorm guests. And, yes the bus #4 stop right in front. Nice. Would be better if there was a Pisa wall map pinned up in the lobby. No common room (but nice porch/patio outside)

Liked: Well heated for winter, comfy beds, spacious rooms and hot showers. Area feels a bit suburban but it is not a long walk to the center. Bar across the road gives discounts to guests so good coffee and breakfast is cheap. No couches, living room or communal area - the porch would probably suffice in summer.

Liked: It´s a B&B, just to sleep, not to meet new people and do party.It's clean and next (but not reallyyy) to the Pisa Tower.There's a really nice pizzeria next to it! =o)

Liked: the location is very near to the center of the city 8 - 10 minutes away in a safe area. the bus from the airport cost 1 euro leaves you just in front of the door. the owner phone to check out on us since we had a delay.

Liked: Good to have free internet there. The rest was not so good. Door always open, no staff there when you arrive and i do not think the hostel deserves the name "leaning tower" because you walk 15-20 min to the tower.

Liked: No one was there to let us into the room when we arrived, and the place was open to anyone who walked in, so it didn't feel very secure. However the rooms were nice and the price is right . Don't be fooled by the title 'Bed and Breakfast', there's no breakfast on offer. Typical Italian accommodation, nice but disorganised.
