Customer reviewThe facilities are good, outside kitchen area with all the cooking facilities you need. The only bad thing about this place was the walk back from the city through a dark tunnel. That's why we only did that walk during the day and not at night. |

Customer reviewIt was pretty clean the staff were friendly and for the cost it was about what I was expected, if it's not busy you may end up with your own cabin like I did, with your own batroom...but there were a couple of problems, shower was more luke warm rather than hot and a couple of miscommunications from staff regards to trains made my stay a little more difficult than I'd hoped but in general I'd recommend the place, for a basic night's rest. |

Customer reviewi stayed in the cabin, and there were only two beds which was a good person to bathroom ratio! the kitchen and eating area was outside, which was frustrating with mozzies. the directions sounded thorough on the website, but on arrival i was hopelessly lost, which is not like me. the staff were really helpful though, and spoke good english. |

Customer reviewJust ask the bus driver to drop you off by the leaning tower, it makes them laugh less. When you get off the bus you will have an archway on your right walk up the road keeping the square on your right until you reach the roundabout. Cross left, and walk past the supermarket PAM and then walk under the underpass all the way to the end, the campsite is on the left handside of the road about 200m up. good location and rooms reasonably sized. |

Customer reviewThe staff was very friendly. But I think that 20 euro per night is far to much for an uncomfertable bed in a caravan.. You can't dress yourself or go to the toilet or take a shower without waking the others. |

Customer reviewThe swimming pool would have been nice if not for the bathing caps. It says it's close to the centre, it's not. It was a good 8 min walk to the closest bus stop and to the Campo dei Miracoli ("Field of Miracles") but this is not at all the centre. Also, you have to walk underneath a very long subway, were it gets creepy, especially at night. I was with my boyfriend, who isn't scared easily and even he felt uncomfortable walking back in the evening. It's a long way, full of grafiti, it's smelly and sometimes there are strange people hanging around. I was thinking what it would be like if you booked this with two girls... There's a nice (altough very shallow) swimming pool, but you have to wear bathing caps, which of course you have to buy in their shop. Very convenient for them of course. 2,50 for a small bathing cap of poor quality with their name on is not a very nice surprise. There was a fridge in the room, however, I could only open it halfway as the bed was in the way. The room was very claustrophobic!! Don't expect a hot shower, even if I turned the handle all the way to hot water, it still was icy cold, not very fun in the morning. We stayed 2 nigths/3 days in which we killed at least 20 mosquitos in our room, no exaggerating. The hostel also charged 5 Euros per hour for internet access, so find an internet point in the centre! I know it's cheap, but still I did expect a little more for my money. When you want to pay, make sure you're on site at the right time, 'cause the paying-office if only open on certain hours. Don't expect them to open even a minute earlier, even if you've been standing there for 10 minutes and they've seen you. They just ignore you until it's time to open. Not very client-friendly... |

Nicole ChinneckLoved our stay here. We had a little house to ourselves (a twin) with ensuite and kitchen and little terrace to sit on outside. I'd say the only problem with it was the heat as we didnt have the option to pay extra for air con, but the staff were really helpful and gave us a fan which worked fine. The pool was lovely and it was great to have a little shop and washing facilities on site. Only a short walk to the leaning tower too, although we struggled a bit in the heat with backpacks (got a taxi on the way back to the station, cost about 6-7 euros each for the two of us). Just a lovely place to relax. Remember to bring mosquito repellant! |

Stephen EllamsOn the positive side, the location was great for the main piazza - Campo dei Miracoli ("Field of Miracles") & there was a swimming pool, shop & restaurant, & outside the room there was a fridge. On the negative side, the room I stayed in was very claustrophobic, the security lock on the wardrobe was broken, the shower was blocked with hair & kept overflowing, & the shower was constantly cold (the thermostat was temporarily turned up when I complained, but was turned down again the following day!). The hostel also charged 5 Euros per hour for internet access, which I felt was a little unfair. Very poor value for money in my opinion. |
