Laura Gildersleevethe hot showers lasted and lasted. so nice. also i'd bought a bottle of wine but had no opener so the lady in the store opened it for me. oh....i'd bought it at a DIFFERENT store. the thing i didn't like, though, was the sketchy tunnel you had to walk through to get to the hostel. |

Customer reviewThis hostel describes itself as being 800 meters from the Tower, it may actually be closer. |

Caroline AherneFriendly and helpful staff and clean accommodation, also close to a big supermarket. On the down side It would have been good to have had matches there to light the gas stove and also washing up liquid. To have to buy these things when you only need to use a little is a bit of a drag. My passport was held by reception until I checked out - this was a major inconvenience when I tried to use cheap internet cafes in Pisa - I hadn't been told that ID is required (new law) and I had to then use the web services at the site - which was much more expensive! The main down side to this place is the tunnel you need to walk through to get to the campsite. It could be intimidating for some if you were alone and it was dark. |

Maria Robertsalmost everything about the hostel was fantastic, the only down side, the underpass by the camp but thats not the camps fault. |

Katrin Skoruppait's a camping site about 1km from the leaning tower. It has a restaurant and a bar. It was clean and cheap. I booked a bed in a 4-persons-room , but luckily got a 2-persons-room all for myself (in a small trailer-like "chalet", with a kitchenette outside). I imagine it must be fun to sit on the terrace with friends in summer, and swim in the pool! Only two bad points: I was there in april and still quite cold, and the electric heating was not very efficient! And the trailer walls are thin, so you hear everything your neighbors say! |

Customer reviewIt was the cheapest place I could find in Pisa and the only place where rooms are shared (so a good way to meet people, especially for single travelers). Negatives: Ants and mosquitoes in the rooms; room/trailer was cold (but there was a heater in the room) and I booked a 4 bed dormitory but got a 2 bed trailer instead. |

Claire RungeEach cabin has a lounge room and kitchen that you can use. The location is good and the staff are so friendly. The only down point is that you cant pay until 8:30am so it's not possible to catch an early train out of Pisa. |

Customer reviewWe stayed in a trailer, and it had a large, comfortable living space with kitchen facilities that were very nice. The bedrooms were quite small and the walls were a little thin. The location was a bit difficult to find, a road sign would have been more helpful, and it was a slight walk to town which was fine during the day, but a little sketchy at night. Many amentities were offered, but the night club and pool were not open when we stayed. |
