Liked: Overall staff were frieendly and helpful.Great lounge room with a/c, tv and dvd's, free wifi.Dorms set upwell, we had 9 in our room but 3 were in an upstairs area so we weren't crowded.All in all, very happy!!!

Disliked: No real kitchen available although some council ruling prevents that???

Liked: safe area- portici, spacious rooms, free internet, friendly people

Disliked: a distance away from the train station, couldn't find restaurants around the area but there're eateries where you can take away food.

Liked: They had a small menu so for Sundays when there is nothing open, you won't starve at least - quite cheap and decent sized portions. The location is quite good if you want to get to Pompeii - about 30mins and about an hour to Sorrento.

Disliked: It was in a dodgy looking neighbourhood but then again what part of Naples isn't dodgy?

Liked: The owner, Luca, was awesome! We're addicted to the tv show How I Met Your Mother and he gave us like 3 whole seasons of it, since we were watching it online :) And all the staff were so incredibly helpful - the one girl at the desk spent like 45 minutes explaining to us how to get to our next hostel, calling people, researching it. So over and above what we were expecting - it was great! Also, we met a lot of cool people there - the common room is huge (and there is free internet!) and has a large movie selection, lots of awesome comfy cushions and chairs. The free breakfast was good too - coffee was AMAZING. Really enjoyed our time here, wandering around the streets full of outdoor markets, and going to see Pompeii. Would definitely recommend it!Also, just to show how helpful they were, we were there in Portici during the train strike, and the hostel lined up cheap alternative transportation for a big group of us b/c they get a discount with a certain taxi service. The taxi drivers were really nice honest guys as well.So you should stay at Fabric! Say hi to Luca :)

Disliked: not anything really! would have liked to have internet in our room, but the common room was huge and had wifi, and really, can't complain about anything!

Liked: Great hostel and it best hostel for South town and it best for anyone who want near go Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius and Amalfi coast and also easy access to Paestum by train from FS station by coast from Hostel!It great Hostel for meet people and fun!Also good quality flat screen TV and free DVD library you can watch the movie.

Liked: it was a good clean place, relatively easy to find but a little ways from the train station. going back up the slight hill with my backpack was not stellar, but easy enough that it didn't actually much affect me. there are grocery stores everywhere and anything you could need. close enough to all the sites, but not actually in naples.

Liked: The location is very good: it's near two railways (Trenitalia and Circumvesuviana) for Naples city (only 10 minutes by train).A big issue is the car parking: all around the hostel there are only non-free parking places.

Liked: Really fast free net. Lockers in room. Comfyish beds. We were there at a time when there was no water though so that really sucked, should have put a warning up on the website and given a deal of some sort. When the water is working though I'm sure it's a really good value for money, only 13 euro/night.

Liked: well... whatever u do, DON'T COME TO THIS HOSTEL BY NIGHT! the city really doesn't make u feel very safe, especially when you're supposed to wait one hour at a bus stop filled with weird people to get to the hostel... really a scary experience! but the hostel itself made us feel a lot better (though we only found the door because some guests had just left...). The staff wasn't helpfull at all, we asked for suggestions on what to see in the city, they just shoved us a little book with a whole bunch of things... i mean, that's cool, but we actually wanted something more direct like "u can't leave naples without doing this, this and that"... Facilities are good, linen is great, bathroom is good but can be tricky... common showers and no toilet seats in the toilet were not such a good idea... Ah, and the breakfast... well, lets say you can't be 1 minute late for that, cuz BREAKFAST ENDS AT 10! not 10:02... so yeah, because of 5 minutes we couldnt have breakfast...

Liked: Upon arrival Fabric Hostel was able to hand you a unique brochuere outlining the different activities you may want to try while in the outskirts of Naples including the Pompeii ruins and Capri Island. The brochuere outlined to the 't' how to get to the location you wanted to sight see and the prices of those locations. Fabric Hostel was also great for free 'clubbin' right in your hostel building and a nice dinner restaurant. I enjoyed their available eleator (although it did not go to all the floors) and internet services.

Liked: i loved my stay! I found it was a great place to meet people, very social. the staff were very kind and happy to help you with advise on visiting the local tourist spots, or the local pizzeria! i will definitely go back

Liked: We loved this place! Great atmosphere and abundant facilities for travellers! Interesting decor and friendly staff fully equipped to answer every question and deal with any issue. Out of the main part of Naples, but close to train station. Stay here!

Liked: It was conveniant to get to other places, such as Pompei and Vesuvio. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good and cheap. It is a little way out of the city, but in a nice area and the people are very friendly. They also upgraded our room for free.

Liked: Staff was super super helpful and very nice! Luca the owner is awesome. The place is really big and really nice and I was very impressed. ALSO, they put together this awesome book/brochure about things to do in the area and around Naples, including maps and other information. This book was the perfect guide and it was so well done.
