Liked: giovanni is awesome! he cooks family dinners, gives you an entire history lesson and layout of all things to see in napoli....wonderful time!

Disliked: it's a bit hard to find because napoli is a large city with a lot of small streets but once you find it, it's very easy to find again and get around :)

Liked: Giovanni is the most funny and helpful hostel owner that I ever met. He treats everyone as his family. He explained every details of Naples to us when we first arrived. We had a great night sitting together, eating pasta, and learning Italian songs.

Disliked: Breakfast is not included but it is fine for me. The floor of the bathroom may get slippy after shower, which need to pay extra attention. The surrounding areas are a bit chaotic.

Liked: Giovanni tells you everything about the area and gives you heaps of ideas of what to do. He even cooks for you if you are lucky. I was disappointed to leave because I had so many other things I wanted to do Giovanni had suggested. Great huge balcony was great and would be even better in summer.

Liked: Giovanni was the best hostel i have stayed in so far! The hostel was easy to find, and he greeted us with a plate of pasta :) he showed us the best places in the city to see and the experience was just great! It would not have been the same had we stayed somewhere else.

Liked: Giovanni is a very helpful host. He is very knowledgeable about all there is to do in Naples and is very happy to offer his advice. Definately take him up on his recommendation for pizza - it is the best!

Liked: At first glace Giovanni seems a little paranoid about your well being... then you realise he is like everyone's dad and will go to any length to make sure you have a great trip. He is passionate about Naples and will give you all the information you need and a map of the city to get around in, he even points out the best pizza and gelato in town (to this day the best I've ever had of both.... touche Giovanni) If you are looking for an experience with an amazing guy, who just wants people to come and enjoy his city - this is the place to go! We will go back... And Giovanni wants me to send him some Vegemite... I'll be sending a package to him next month with photos of our great time there, with the group of travelers out for pizza and gelati! Book now!!!!

Disliked: Nothing... the stairs are nothing compared to some in Europe - I read the reviews and thought the stairs must be mental... not so bad :D

Liked: Everything. Giovanni is such an amazing guy, he sits you down when checking in and tells you everything to do in Naples and how, and if you check in at the right time he'll give you his free pasta. Would recommend his hostel to absolutely everyone.

Disliked: 3 Steep flights of stairs to get to the hostel but the hostel is so good its a fair price to pay.

Liked: Excellent place. Giovanni is really nice. Superb pizzas close by. Located in a very historic place of town. Free wifi and computers. Nice terrace. Big communal area. Fully A/C!!! Follow Giovanni's recommendations and you won't go wrong! But beware of the cobblestone streets. Narrow and dark. Don't be spooked! It is afterall in a very old part of town with lots of character.

Liked: Giovanni provides a map with excellent recommendations for a walking tour in town with sites to see and places to eat. He also knows how to get to Pompeii and provided us with that information. Generally he is very friendly and helpful...just be ready to get a LOT of help (meaning a meeting of like an hour when you check in). I also liked how small the hostel was, which gave for a more intimate feeling.

Disliked: Giovanni insists it is okay to leave passports unsecured because his hostel is safe and no one steals. I understand that, but as a traveler it made me feel uncomfortable to leave it in the room. He should get a safe.

Liked: The owner was really helpful and his advice meant we really made the most of our time around naples. He treated you like a friend and I think its important not to forget this is his home and so not a typical hostel. He was the friendliest hostel owner i have met on all my travels and it suprised me he remembered everone by name. A gem in a crazy claustrphobic city x x

Liked: Giovanni is amazing!!! He tells you the best things to see in the city and makes sure you are safe. The property is very nice with a kitchen and terrace.

Disliked: On the third floor with no elevator but its worth it.

Liked: Stay at Giovannis home and you will not be disappointed!!! How could you not take the chance to stay with a local in his home, and be treated as if youre family??! Have him tell you everything there is to see in his beautiful city and further?? Cook you meals, play music for you, basically do anything to make you feel welcome? This place isn't just a hostel, it's home away from home no matter where you're from. Your search ends here!
