Liked: We liked Eugenio. He was very helpful. We liked that the place felt like you were at home. The little kitchen area had a huge refrigerator that we used to keep some food cold. Eugenio helped us get a load of clothes washed. The clothes washer was there in the kitchen, too.

Disliked: Willa left no negative feedback.

Liked: We were so glad we chose to stay at B&B Cinquestelle! Eugenio was the nicest host we have ever met, very helpful, showed us sights to see, 'safer' roads to take and gave recommendation for the nicest pizza we've ever had! If you have heard of dangerous stories about Naples, don't worry, Eugenio will guide you along. Rooms were spacious, well heated, clean, strong WIFI signal. Close to train station. Recommended! Felt really safe and secure staying here.

Liked: Nice and clean room (with air conditioning, tv, hairdriyer, bathroom ensuite), great breakfast. Close to train, alibus and "metro" station, but not so close to main attraction (10 minutes by feet from "Spaccanapoli", 45 to p.zza Plebiscito). The neighbourhood is not a touristic one, but is safe and quiet enough - and don't worry, naples is no more unsafe than other european big cities. The owner, Ennio, is the real plus: never found anybody really doing his best to make your stay pleasent as he did - lot of daily tips about restaurants, sightseeing, transportation etc.

Liked: Even though we were only there for one night we had a great time and the owner was so so helpful. He was waiting for us on the street, pointed out dinner spots to us and even drove to the airport for a small fee. Would recommend to all.

Liked: Our Host, Eugenio, was so very helpful. He knew exactly what we'd want to do and see while in Naples and provided excellent advice. He also provided maps and guides for Pompei so we didn't have to purchase them ourselves. Excellent location, very easy walking distance from the train station and to get to the historical centre.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The host, Eugenio, was very hospitalbe and helpful. Every morning he would suggest information for sightseeing, cheaper bus and train tickets, places to eat. The atmosphere of the place was very friendly as if you are staying at your friend's place.

Liked: The owner of the hostel is fantastic, and as it is a small place you will have the chance to meet with him and benefit from his advice... he speaks English and is passionate about Naples, but can also offer lots of information about the surrounding area and how to navigate the trains and metro. The breakfast which he offers in the morning for an extra 2 euros is quite good (croissants with cream in the middle, café au lait, toast and jam), he will also do your laundry if you'd like and drive you to the airport for a very reasonable fee (as of July 2011, the metro did not go out to the airport, although I understand that this is in the works. For the moment, getting a drive with someone you can trust is likely your best option... the Alibus which runs from the train station to the airport for 3 euros apparently does not always show up and I have heard that the taxis can over-charge you. If you are traveling by taxi, it would be helpful to have a copy of the fare schedule which is available in several languages at http://www.comune.napoli.it/flex/files/D.ff5be05cc6dd0ef6f91c/TARIFFE_TAXI.pdf ). If you are expecting to arrive at the hostel later in the evening, it would be best to let the owner know in advance as he will wait up for you.

Disliked: There was nothing really to dislike about the hostel itself, it was quiet, clean, comfortable and offered both air conditioning in the rooms and a fridge. However, the location near the train station is both a benefit and a draw-back, as the area itself does not seem very safe, particularly if you are arriving at night. Even though the hostel is max. 10 minutes walking from the station, I would not recommend that you walk it alone at night. If you are with another person, you should be fine. If you do happen to be on your own, you may want to look at staying in the HI hostel which is quite near one of the metro stops - it's a little outside of the city centre, but a safer area at night.

Liked: Eugenio was a wonderful host. Very welcoming and a walking guidebook. Very comfortable rooms. A fantastic location, only minutes walking distance from the train station, although the entrance is hard to find, so keep an eye out for the small sign and be prepared to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs.

Liked: The B&B is fabulous in a city that doesn't pride itself on tourism or cleanliness, but Cinquestelle is in a safe part of town, easily accessible for public transport, close to a very good pizza restaurant. Incredibly good value for money and extremely clean. Eugenio is an amazing host and is what makes this B&B the best place to stay in Naples, on hand at anytime and knows everything there is to know about the city, and always greets you with a huge smile.

Liked: Eugenio is great, couldn't have been more helpful. Great value for money. Location is perfect if you want to be near the station, literally 5 minutes walk.

Disliked: If you are looking to meet people, you might wanna try a bigger, more party orientated place. Perfect for those who want a quiet, cheap place base.

Liked: Eugenio the owner is very helpful, gave us a lot of informations about the city and the visits around Napoli (Capri, Pompei...). His home made Cappuccino for breakfast is just wonderful ! Probably the best place to stay in Napoli for that price...

Liked: The location was great and the room and general B&B was clean. The owner was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for him. He gave us great advice on places to eat, Visit and public transport to and from Pompeii. Would definately recommend this place to anyone.

Liked: Eugenio offered us a lot of advice re where to go in naples, and how to get to pompeii. The location is really close to the train station, breakfast was good, and the room was clean (shower a bit small though).

Liked: A small (5 rooms) hostel near the main station well located for exploring Naples, Pompei etc. It is superbly run by its cheeful welcoming owner Euginio, who was massively helpful in showing us around Naples, advising on buses, trains etc, and helping us book visits. First class!!

Liked: We were so happy a place to stay so close to the main train station terminal and it had very clear directions to the B&B. Euginio is amazing. The accomodations are clean, comfortable, air-conditioned and he has a blow dryer which was a plus. He is the owner and he goes above and beyond to help out his guests. We had planned on only staying one night in Naples and by the time we were ready to book our next hotel in Florence it was late and we were exhausted. Euginio was already booked up but, he took the time walk us to another accomodation that he is familiar with and has a friend who works there. He made us the reservation and then recommended a great pizza place for dinner. I would highly recommend him.
