Liked: This was a brilliant hostel with the most friendly staff! They are only too happy to help, you don't even need to ask! It has a friendly common area, great breakfast and lots of travel tips. The location is easy to get to from the station and is even close to the bus that will take you direct to the airport. Think out of Italy it was the best hostel I have stayed in. Air conditioning, TV in room with DVD player and clean faciliites. Would definitely stay again if visiting Naples.

Liked: 'HOTS' is a superb hostel, clean, friendly, good location and a free breakfast.

Disliked: In the private rooms the walls between the rooms are very thin, if you have loud neighbours you know about it!

Liked: I love this hostel. Naples is a great place to base yourself. Vesuvius. Pompeii. Herculaneum. Ischia. Procida. Capri. The Amalfi Coast. All day trips from Hostel of the Sun.It is in a safe neighbourhood in Naples and is staffed 24/7. It has its own kitchen so you can cook if you don’t fancy eating out alone or with people you barely know - or the staff can order in cheap and delicious pizza or pasta.The TV room is great, although there were quite a few mosquitoes so bring Jungle Formula! There are lots of DVDs to watch if you fancy a night in.There is free wifi and two computers with free internet that you can always get on.The bathrooms could probably do with a spruce up but they do the job.The breakfast (included) is great. I always ate too much.The best thing about this hostel is the staff. They are the friendliest and most helpful hostel staff that I have ever come across. They will help you plan what bus/ferry/route to take and make you feel at home.One tip: don’t just do 2 days here and see Pompeii and Capri. Explore Naples. Many of the plundered treasures from Pompeii are in the Archaeological Museum so it’s a must. Go to Herculaneum. Get a bus down the Amalfi coast. Capri and Pompeii are awesome too mind.Don't be suprised when you get here. Naples is smelly and dirty. There are virtually no tourists wandering about after dark. It is poles apart from Rome, but it has atmosphere, and is nowhere near as dodgy as Barcelona!Oh and Hostel of the Sun is a bargain as well.

Liked: Staff very friendly, always a happy face and nothing is ever too much trouble!The location of the hostel is very central and so easy to get around being next to the port and the bus stops. The rooms are very clean and the shower facilities are good, rooms cleaned and beds made daily.Plenty of good times to be had and loads of banter with Luca et al!Would definitely stay again.

Liked: I chose for a private room/bathroom for my family and it was really worthy! The room was clean and the breakfast was definitely better with the Nutella they offer everyday! The atmosphere was just as described in reviews...funny and helpful staff, colorful and modern decoration! Really near to the port that takes you to Capri and other islands. Congrats to Luca, great and worthy days in Naples.

Liked: Close to port and easily accessible from bus station. Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast included, lockers, clean...the maid even made my bed every morning! Free use of internet and WIFI.

Liked: Truly enjoyed my stay. The staff was very helpful and the facilities were clean with a relaxed atmosphere for just recuperating from your day's explorations or meeting other travelers. Definitely coming here again if I'm ever back in Napoli!

Liked: Wonderful place to stay, super down to earthy and relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were wonderful and breakfast was great with the huge jars of nutella! Very very helpful staff that are there only to make your stay as fun and easy as possible!

Liked: Very colourful and cosy! We weren't there much so we didnt get to take full advantage of the place, but will definitely stay there again when I go back for the weekend to visit the Amalfi coast. Great breakfast too! I liked the massive jars of nutella on the tables.

Liked: I live that they give you coins for the elevator so your not out of pocket. The staff are all so lovely and helpful. Great place to stay

Liked: the staff were excellent - very friendly (and funny!), helpful and informative about what to see in Naples. and it was good that there was a dvd facility in the common room as thats a good extra option if you're not going out on any given evening. common room was a good place to get chatting to people.

Liked: Absolutely amazing staff! BEST staff I've ever come across. They were fun, very helpful, nice, and fun to be around. Free breakfast in the morning is great! The common room was fun to hang out in, and the bathrooms were clean and private. Keep in mind, about a 30 min. walk from the central train station, but there are buses that run everywhere. Fairly close to the rest of city center though. If you're coming to Naples, definitely stay here.
