Liked: Hostel in the Sun is a wonderful oasis from the chaos of Naples. It's not the fanciest place in the world, but everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming. There's a cool common room with free movies and wifi that's a great place to meet other travelers! The staff will also have cheap, delicious food delivered for you if you're too tired to leave after a day of sightseeing. This is one of the friendliest, most fun hostels I've ever stayed in!

Disliked: If you arrive in Naples after dark, don't try to walk from the train station--take a bus or a cab. It's quite a long trek through a questionable neighborhood (my friend got her purse ripped off her arm on a main street--just be careful!)

Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to give expert information when asked on what to do and anything about Naples and Italy. Hostel was really clean and full of information, things to do, great breakfast, happy staff, great atmosphere in which to socialise and staff willing to join in conversations and trips out. A++++

Disliked: It was all good.

Liked: Easily the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff are unbelievable - not only are they helpful, but they go out of their way to ensure everyone is socialising and having a good time. It is almost worth going Naples just to experience this hostel!

Liked: Fantastic. Amazingly friendly helpful staff, DVD movies you can borrow and watch in your room or the common lounge. We has a private twin and it was very spacious. Great location to get anywhere in the city!

Disliked: Not really a dislike but it was strange to have to pay .05€ to use the elevator during daytime hours in week - the desk has a basket you can grab coins from so it wasn't a problem at all. Might be nice if breakfast was served a bit later...I like to sleep in on vacation.

Liked: most definately the hosts! Luca and Carla are warm, friendly and immediately make you feel safe and comfortable. Also close to all public transport. The Internet is free, the kitchen feels warm and inviting and cheap cocktails are the best! The people who stay there are awesome, we met some neat friendly people willing to share their stories. One thing we liked was being able to leave our stuff and not have to worry about it being stolen or touched! Showers were clean, and they let us keep our packs there during the day while we waited for our night ferry. Its Vibrant and young though all ages seemed to be coming through the door, Luca and Carla were real helpful in helping us get from place to place, even so much as calling us all a taxi so we could get to the pub! Definately the highlight hostel of our trip and we have some good memories to share with our families about this place when we get home. Thanks Hostel of the Sun! You guys ROCK!

Liked: AMAZING. They are so wonderful here, great staff, good location in a not terribly safe city, easy access to the ferries and public transport. Great way to meet others, good happy hour, awesome breakfast...

Liked: i have been traveling all over europe and this is by far my favorite hostel EVER. i adore it. not only is it cute and conveniently located, but the staff is absolutely brilliant! so helpful and kind. i love everything about it. i could live there!

Liked: Good location in quite a safe area. Easy access to the port for travel to the islands. Cheap and cheerful and ideal for students on a budget, especially upstairs on the 7th floor. Quieter downstairs on the 2nd floor. Good place to meet like-minded people. Helpful and friendly staff, who will help you plan and organise day trips etc.

Disliked: I'd imagine it gets very busy on the 7th floor in the main dorm area, and seemed quite cramped at times, especially at breakfast time! Not ideal if you want your own space and you'll be sharing bathroom facilities, though you'd expect that for the price.
