Liked: clean, staff, nicely decorated.

Disliked: extremeley noisy! the housekeepers were banging from 7am and the kitchen for bfast was close by and soooo noisy. the chairs sliding were noisy, everything echoed! they need a swing door to try stop the noise from kitchen and hallway to rooms. i heard people peeing and even someone spewing durin the night. no sound proofing at all. i had bad sleeps! The house keepers should start working later if the need to be so noisy, it really made me mad becasuse i like to sleep in on holidays. perhaps something could be done about the doors slamming aswell. until they fix this i dont recommend if you wake easily. it is a new level so hopefully they can think of something. no internet in room or on new level but im sure they were workin on that because we were first in the new room.

Liked: Everything!! The staff were super helpful and lovely, recommended an amazing pizza place and boat tour of Capri. The hostel rooms were clean and roomy. The location was within easy walking distance of the historic centre and away from the busy main streets.

Disliked: Nothing :-)

Liked: Very laid back atmosphere with knowledgeable staff members more then willing to help with all your questions and vacation planning needs. Great happy hour set up and breakfast selection.

Disliked: If possible, try to avoid going to the hostel past sundown. Naples at nigth is generally a sketchy location.

Liked: Excellent staff - Luca, Carla and Harriet (no particular order!). Great value, breakfast included. Small dorms, not many to share a bathroom. This hostel has a great vibe.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing. I stayed in 2010 and returned again in 2011.

Liked: this property was AWESOME!!! great staff and helpful hints with travel and secert locations top visit that arnt on the map

Disliked: showers are a bit lame and one night there was no hot water, but other than that NO PROBLEMS!!!

Liked: The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and there were alot of bathrooms to use. Never had to wait. It was close to everything or had easy access to get somewhere. There was alot of choices for breakfast. It's an awesome place to meet people of all ages. The best hostel I've stayed in!!!

Liked: Great hostel! The giant jars of nutella at breakfast were awesome! =P Staff were fantastic and rooms were clean and beds had lamps! Bathrooms were clean and spacious! Be sure to have a 5c coin for the lift if you don't want to walk the 7 flights of stairs to get to reception! I Would recommend this hostel to other travelers!

Liked: Everithing was great... the hostel is very close to the city centre and to the harbour. The breakfast is very good and everyone from the staff is very nice and willing to help. Great atmosphere also!

Liked: Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was decent and the rooms were clean and comfortable

Disliked: The room doors had no locks so anyone could come in. The room I stayed in was right off the common area and was quite noisy at night.

Liked: Hostel of the Sun has an extremely nice and informative staff. They had good recommendations on what to do and when and very helpful warnings about Napoli at night. Just don't go out after dark. The facilities were really clean and I always felt safe. The common area was always fun and buzzing and the breakfast was sufficient too.

Disliked: Nothing the hostel itself could do much about, Napoli is just really pilled with trash... everywhere.

Liked: The staff and the atmosphere

Disliked: The bathrooms were mouldy, and a health hazard. The room was small and cramped for 5 people. The air circulation was poor.

Liked: It was a fun atmosphere and a great place to just relax and hang out. The staff was really accomodating and super helpful. It was a great location and it allowed me to walk and see the whole city. If your staying in Naples, you would be a fool to stay any other place.

Disliked: A bit difficult to find at first but once you have found it you won't forget it.

Liked: Great location, next to the boats. Nice place to meet people because hostel is not so big, so everybody stays in the same floor. Staff very helpful.

Disliked: The hostel is in the 7th floor of a building. The elevator only works if you put 5 or 10 cents in it (during commercial hours). If you have no coins, either you look for some change somewhere else, or you climb all the way up. Up in the hostel, they offer you change for the next rides, which is good, but for the very first one, get some change ready!

Liked: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. And the place was bright and cheerful.

Disliked: The noise levels at night could be better since a lot of the crowd seems to hang around till late into the morning in the kitchen. Not perfect if you've had a tiring day. But overall, a good option if you are travelling on a budget.
