Casa del Monacone

La Casa del Monacone is an Ancient Convento, near the Basilica of Santa Maria of Sanità, in the middle of the popular and historic Rione Sanità.

Renovating the spaces designated to the monks, some young boys of “La Paranza” together with a famous Neapolitan designer Riccardo Dalisi, have created 6 rooms (all of them with a bathroom inside) hot and comfortable; one dining room, a kitchen; and a terrace (where it is possible, from the spring time to the autumn to have breakfast near the historical bridge of the Sanità).

Dalisi has created a soft style, demonstrating that in Sanità “ancient and modern” can live together very well.

Location Information

The Monacone is in a strategic position for the city’s sight, both ancient and modern, because it is near the lines 1 and 2 of the Naples’ Metropolitan, near Spacca Napoli (intra moenia) with his churches and the Cathedral, at the hill's feet of Vomero (modern town), near the Pinacoteca of Capodimonte and to his Wood (green part of the city), to the Archeological Museum and a little far from the Real Orto Botanico.
