sean mcardellThis place is great value. Its a hotel with shared dorms, the facilities are great and so is the location. The only reason Ive put average for atmosphere is because I really visited at the wrong time. They do try, they put on a film night etc, but I feel that it would be much funner in mid summer. |

Customer reviewI stayed there for just a night as a jumping-off point to head to Pompei. Though finding the hostel could be challenging, if you follow their directions on hostelbookers (or on their website or confirmation email) its pretty easy to find. Other then that, the place is awesome - great facilities, great staff, and a very chill atmosphere to meet people. The shops/restaurants around the hostel are relatively inexpensive, which makes it even better. Defintely stay here. |

Customer reviewLa Controra was the best hostel that I stayed at on my 2 1/2 week trip. The hostel is comfortable and clean throughout. The staff in beyond friendly, and the common area is perfect for meeting new people. I was traveling alone, and it was easy for me to put together a crew for a day trip to Pompeii and Sorento. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Naples. I wish I could go back there right now. |

Customer reviewThe best place we stayed at during our month long travel. The staff were truly amazing, offered cooking classes, and were knowledgeable about Naples and Italy and suggested great things to do. The kitchen was very clean and nice to use. Definitely a great place to stay while visiting Naples or Pompeii. |
