Liked: Very close to Metro stop.

Disliked: The lockers were gloriously huge, but mine had no way to lock it.

Liked: The design and cleanliness of the property

Disliked: Very blur receptionist, we booked for three days but she only checked in for two days. We was told the breakfast is from 7 to 10am but the bread was finished before the time and without any refill!

Liked: A clean, well-located place that felt spacious and secure.

Disliked: Soap was out in the bathroom; internet didn't always work; management has the questionable policy that you must leave your key at the front desk when going out.

Disliked: It was under reconstruction so our room wasnt in the best condition when we got there.

Liked: The location is perfect: close to the city centre, in a lovely and quiet neighbourhood with some bars and a supermarket close by. The place is beautiful, my room had a nice view to a cloister and it was very clean and comfortable. Not expensive at all for the room, bathroom and good service.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: It was quiet and had everything we needed. We were only there one night but I think I would go back. They were in the middle of renovating/painting the interior of the place, it should look good once finished.

Disliked: Not much.

Liked: The location is very good, within walking distance of main tourist areas. Room was ok size (twin room) and shower was good. room would get quite hot at night and air conditioning wasn't any use but could open window for some air.

Disliked: breakfast wasn't very good, staff weren't overly friendly (didn't even look up as you came and went) and place needed a bit of tlc although they were doing renovations as we were there.

Liked: for a stay for one night only it was perfect. it was the most cozy and comfortable dorm room I've seen in the hostels so far.

Disliked: breakfast starts starts at 7.00

Liked: The best thing about this hostel is it's location.

Disliked: The breakfast is bad, just a croissant (if you are late you won't get any).

Liked: the location is good...you can walk everywhere in short time

Disliked: well for the money you pay there it is way too dirty and filthy...the bedsheets,well there were none just sheets for the bed but no blankets, the pillows were discusting! -hope they don't live inside and i don't get any bites! the rooms are very noisy...you can here everyone and everything around...the stuff could be a bit friendlier, but there are some nice ones and some who could be nicer or friendlier! breakfast is not good! but if you don't care...the location is great!

Liked: Monastery Hostel is easy to find, clean bathroom (twin), clean rooms, still looks freshly painted. Warm, and cosy. Get in early for breakfast as they advise.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: It is very central. It is possible to walk to most places in the centre of Milan. The lockers are big and come with a key (no padlock required). The rooms have an en-suite shower/toilet facility.

Disliked: Some of the electrics were unfinished i.e. light fittings beside each bed. The room I was in had only 2 chairs which is inconvenioent if you are in a top bunk.

Liked: The location was very good only a five minute walk to the subway and the breakfast was delicious. Rooms were clean and spacious and had free internet which was a bonus. Each room had individual heater.

Disliked: The linen and pillows were very old and in need of replacing. Would advise taking a sleeping bag. The breakfast was delicious however there was not enough of it and was limited to one pastry and a cup of coffee.

Liked: Good location, friendly staff, good sized room and bathroom. Windows opening. Hot water is hot. Fridge in the room:) Wifi works. Heating more than efficient in our room.

Disliked: Shower cubicle should get a really good scrub. Met one cockroach:( Drinks machine gives laughable portions at 50 cents each. No kettle - cook water either on a hob or in microwave. (I haven't seen the souvenir shop or mini mart there but I didn't ask after it either)

Liked: It had character, was very clean, good wifi connection, hot water and comfortable beds. I arrived slightly early and was able to drop my luggage off and check in early.

Disliked: You had to keep your food in your room rather than in the kitchen which was difficult at times.

Disliked: Breakfast: they should improve it a bit. Croisants seems not fresh.
