Liked: price, location and somehow I'm alone in a 3-bed shared room..:P

Disliked: the shower is not good as some comments here..the shower head is old and rusty and sometimes only cold water came..

Liked: Clean rooms, clean beds, friendly staff speaking English. If you ask them, they might serve breakfast before 8h30, which is the normal hour indicated (but, do not forget ot ask them the day before).

Disliked: The nights were very hot in Milan, so we had to keep windows opened at all time. I found the neighborhood pretty noisy by night, especially motos.

Liked: It's an affordable hostel in Milan. Rooms are fine, it's very old-school Italian with little creaking elevator and big wooden front doors. The owner was very concerned with my not being alone in a room with men (I'm female) so he moved me into nicer rooms than I paid for, which was sweet.

Disliked: No kitchen, and a little bit out of the way of things, but an easy walk from the subway station. I was pretty annoyed by the lack of wifi - they advertise it, but it was pretty clear it didn't exist at all, not just wasn't working at the time.

Liked: The staff were friendly and when I left in the morning, the owner gave me a pack lunch breakfast to take with me, which was really kind! There is also a great pizza restaurant that does takeaways for very good prices :)

Disliked: The price seems extremely unjust as the rooms are basic and there were hardly any facilities. The toilet was broken and they make you given them a 10 euro deposit (which was not stated in the hostelbookers page) incase you break anything, but I think this is unfair in the state the hostel is in in the first place-very old! It's also situated in a zone that has road works and looks very deserted and is quite out of the way.

Liked: The owners are really sweet and friendly.

Disliked: Besides the fact that it was not that well located, we would like it to have a kitchen/ common room as well as more than one bathroon/ toilet for the guests.

Liked: we had an early train, and they were able to get our breakfast ready for us before they usually started serving. very helpful staff!!

Liked: The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice, too, but could have been more varied.

Disliked: We did not get the room we booked due to some big event in the city, but the staff apologized for this and we got a refund. A bit too far to the centre, definitely far to walk. There was a single toilet for a couple of rooms and one bath tub in the same room so if your room does not have a shower you have to share and wait long. And it was really dirty in the bathroom.
