Liked: It's a big hostel and clean and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly!I just love them! I actually stayed there for 4 nights and I stayed in the hostel Misterbeem for 2 nights as well, but the last day before I flied back to HK I chose to stay in Olinda.

Disliked: It's kind of out of the way at the first time, since it's not located at the center of milan but a northern city of Milan in Affori, it's easily get there by train but the train stopped at 9 pm , the bus stopped at around midnight, so if for party it isn't too bad coz you can party till 5 30am for the first train back from the city hehe.

Liked: It is a bit out of the way, but they give good directions via email when you book your room. There is not much offered in terms of social gatherings, but the bar right outside makes a good place to hang out with your fellow travelers. The place has a unique history and it gives it kind of personality.

Liked: We were in Italy for two weeks and this place had the most comfortable beds. It is safe clean and quiet though not central but the journey there was ok. The hostel is in a park- through the gates and keep to the right. We arrived after dark, it would be nicer to arrive in daylight and go out again if need be. The man on duty spoke excellent English and opened reception for us even though we arrived after their closing time.

Liked: Pros: clean, free wifi, great price for Milan, beautiful courtyard, cheap coffee machine, free laundry, nice staff (the one woman who spoke English), lovely kitchen/dining room, safe, near a grocery storeCons: Far from the city, in a rather creepy park, has strange men (possibly employees) who wander around all day...we wouldnt have even known this except I was sick for two days and didnt leave the hostel. bathroom a bit dodgy

Liked: Really strange and eerie place. On a mental health site. But apart from being a little weird I cannot fault it. We were fine here and didn't want for anything.

Liked: i think you cant get any cheaper hostel in milan and i dont think you could get a much better one or at least one that is more worth its costs.the location is a bit strange but in the end and especially in summer i guess very nice although you have to take metro and train to get there (less than half an hour from central station), but since its covered by the 3€uro dayticket for milan its no bother.the best thing about this place though: the espresso/coffee machine, where you get really good espresso (for my taste) for 50c.
