sandra fifordthis hostel wasnt very friendly and not condusive to meeting other travellers, no area set up for sitting and conversing, and also not able to do any washing of clothes since there was no where to hang it. wouldnt recommend if youre travelling alone and want to mix with others. |

Mary-Alice DoyleThe dorm rooms were nice and big, with real beds instead of bunks! There were 3 bathrooms, all very clean (when I used them) and new-looking. Towels provided! As far as I could tell there were no lockers in the dorms. It's a good location closeish the train station and right near a tram stop, which is why I booked it. I had a bed right next to the window, and with trams rattling past throughout the night, I did have a little trouble sleeping through the noise, even with the window closed. Note that dorms are mixed (I'm so used to female-only dorms that this was a surprise for me)! Also, there is only one key to each room. I don't know how one key between 4 strangers is supposed to work... I guess you just need to trust that nobody's going to lock you out. It felt safe because people can't just wander in - you need to buzz up to reception to be able to get into the building. Overall, a good, clean, spacious hostel. I'm not sure how close it is to the touristy sites, but it was very convenient for me as I just needed a place to crash between trains. |

Customer reviewI booked two beds with Hotel San Tomaso and my friend and I ended up getting split into two different rooms in Hotel Kennedy. Everything was fine, but it would have been nice to keep my original booking since I booked a room far in advance. |

Luke BrownOK hostel. There's not really a back packing scene in Milan so we had to book a hotel. This was relatively cheap and there was free internet and paid breakfast so it was enough. Not much going on though. Cool place to stay, but nothing really there. Just beds. |

Customer reviewWhen I arrived they didn't have a room for me although I held a reservation. They had, instead, set me up at another hotel quite close to the train station- I think it was called Guest House. Anyhow. The staff as Tomaso were VERY friendly and helpful. They even gave me back two euro so I could take a trolley over to the other establishment to save me time and more money. Very nice ladies. Didn't end up staying there, of course, but they did set me up in a clean, safe place which still had an excellent location (five min walk from the station) and the staff at the new hotel were also very nice. |

Customer reviewThe place is more like someone's flat which was reconstrcted into a hostel...but staff there are nice and it's amazingly simple to check out...but only one key per room, so it's a little inconvient. |
