Disliked: the walls are made of something so thin that you can hear everything from the corridor and the other rooms. It is difficult to sleep when people are laughing during the night and you virtually hear every word they are saying. The rooms are very cold, heating did not work

Liked: Good location, good map, clean, near big supermarket, big beds

Disliked: Terrible signage, bad directions, made me pay for linen which they said would be free, no sevices mentioned on site are shown to you ie. luggage room or fridge. Weird key arrangement- one key per room.

Disliked: I didn't actually stay at Hostel Diablo because for some reason, I got moved to another hostel which was very, very, very far away from the location where I wanted to be (hence choosing Hostel Diablo); no one had the courtesy to send me an email about the change.

Liked: It was cleaned every day. The staff in daytime was nice and helpful.

Disliked: This property is not a hotel. No any signal or subtitle so too difficult to find it. The rooms are very poor, but very clean. The wall in the duble room there is next to the communal WC and shower so it was wet and smell. But the biggest problem is not these. Impossible to sleep in this room before 1am and after 6am. Its terrible because the walls are very thin, early morning and late at night the people go to toilet and have a shower The torrential water is awful loud, really ear-splitting. The guests on the corridor walked, knocked and shouted. If you want to sleep maybe need to use any earmuffs. If you are going to Milano - its really beautyfull -, choose another one of accomodations with a better views rate. Regards to everybody: Judit and Ildikó

Liked: The worse place I have ever been. They put 5 old beds in a double room and they say it is an hostel..

Disliked: Not even 10cm betwen each bed. Old matresses, old and broken floors, durty walls, etc...

Liked: One of the staff was really helpful and nice even though he couldn't speak english

Disliked: Not a good hostel: no services on offer, no atmosphere, no kitchen, very hot... I wouldn't recomment it

Liked: The location is good, however it says that they are located close to the citycentre you cant walk it... It will take you 15 min by tram to come to the duomo. You can also take the bus. The rooms are okay but some beds are better than others. Our room had a ensuite bathroom which was good but at some hours the shower was cold. very difficult when you are with more people! There is no private parkingspace, but you can park your car outside in the street at the places with the 'white lines' (they're free and you dont need a pass for it)

Disliked: There was no clear sign outside so that made it difficult to find the hotel in the dark.. You need to search for number 43 and than you see the bell with the name of the hotel. When you enter the buidling, they could have made it more clear where to go! you dont need to climb the stairs. In the corridor there is a small sign which guides you to the hotel(you dont see it in the evening) You'll have to walk outside and 100m further in the right corridor you'll find the hostel. Two of the 3 times the shower was cold!! Staff said he would work on it but that took a long time.. They dont talk english that well, he tries to but it is not easy to understand. The hostel had all private rooms so there was not a cozy atmosphere. There were some tables where you could sit but when I was there, nobody was sitting there. everyone was sitting in his own room. In the end, milano is not as touristic as the other italian cities. It is a working city. We stayed there 2 days but you dont need to stay here longer, there are not that many cultural things and going out will be difficult because not many people can advise you about a nice club where to go. Seems like milanese people dont party that much..

Liked: good location - bus to duomo which was just a 15min walk anyway, easy walk to metro. pretty clean and the showers and toilets work. no air con but for the money it's great value. rooms are small but really if you're backpacking and will spend the day out anyway it shouldn't bother you. staff was decently helpful.

Disliked: hard to find though you'll realize the directions were as good as they couldve been. find the gate with the many doordells, the hostel one is the lower rightmost button, press and they'll let you in, walk into the open air courtyard and the hotel entrance door is at the back right corner.

Liked: The bed was quite comfy! And I was lucky that the other travellers in my dorm were wanting the same as me; a quiet night sleep and security. Also, the supermarket's close by.

Disliked: There wasn't any wireless. No lockers or key for the room; this was a major disadvantage for me and made me feel very unsafe. However, having said that, I had a chat with the guy on reception and he looked after my case for me while I was out, and also let me store it in the staff room all day after I checked out (I don't think he was meant to do this though, as other guests didn't seem to be able to...).

Liked: Small rooms

Disliked: The staff were usless (did not speak english, but advertised that they did), the credit card facilities were broken and they didnt keep change, so i had to fight to get my change back, the showers were mouldy, they advertised kitchen facilities that were not available and breakfast that did not exist.

Liked: I paid for a dorm room but was given a private room which was kind of nice. The room was clean and comfortable and within reasonable walking distance to the auto bus that leads to the central station. It's a good place to stay if you're on a budget, aren't planning on meeting anyone, or for one night.

Disliked: I found that it was kind of difficult to find. There aren't any signs indicating that it's a hotel so I passed by it a few times before seeing the tiny little buzzer with the name on it.
