Liked: Extremely friendly owner, tasty breakfast at nearby cafe, interesting books in room

Disliked: Tight space, especially the shower. The showerhead was uncomfortable. Hotel is in the centre of the city, but quite a walk from the train station. If you are staying for one or two nights, you should stay outside the walled city because walking there with your luggage is very annoying. Supposedly there is a bus but I got there at night so I didn't see anything. I would recommend arriving during the day because without a city map it's hard to get around and see the entrances to the walled city. Also wifi is expensive and there is no free wifi in the city. You can use the office laptop for information but it is extremely slow.

Liked: The B&B is in an apartment block with a beautiful little garden. Our room was quite big and the area was really quite and close to everything. The free bikes were good for a ride around the wall and town. Andrea was really friendly and helpful with recommendations for well priced places to eat. We've read comments complaining about the number of keys provided. The reason is because the property is shared with other residents. It was not a hassle for us. In fact the place almost didn't feel like a B&B, felt like we sort of experienced what it's like living in here.

Liked: Simply beautiful! Beautiful staff, beautiful place, beautiful room, beautiful location and wonderful freedom to come and go and access to free bikes. We felt like locals and like we were at home! BEAUTIFUL!

Liked: Very friendly owners - enjoyed talking with them. Quiet and peaceful location. Room was very nicely furnished. Variety of books in room to read. Guide to Lucca provided for guests' use.Breakfast was taken with a voucher at one of three cafe's, so I was on my own and there wasn't the ability to meet other hostel guests in a breakfast room.

Liked: I loved that there were two bikes avaliable for the guests, it's great to see Lucca by bike around the city wall :)The bed was terrible, too soft and bulky :(
