Customer reviewBreakfast was 5euro. The toilet only worked sometimes, the shower was extremely tempramental, which meant you had a luke-warm shower for most of the time you were in there. |

Customer reviewVery friendly woman at reception, room has lots of character but is in cellar (with a door and window for ventilation) No kitchen or common area but all beds are single and there is a couch and tv in the room. |

Erin Pitherpretty much a hotel that has decided to turn its basement into a hostel. 5 beds. nice enough place. just outside the walls of lucca. can rent bikes from there which is a really good idea. average but not one of the massive fancy hostel complexes but it can be a nice change |

Kellie RickellFortunately for me, the hostel got my booking mixed up (as in they tried to turn me away because they had overbooked the rooms and there was no bed for me), I made a big fuss and managed to get the double bed ensuite for the same money. But it shouldn't take someone to make a big fuss to get what they have already payed for and expected on their arrival to a pre-booked hostel.! |

Joshua WatsonSome of the staff was extremely unfriendly to Americans. The shared part of the hostel is stuck in a dank dungeon of a basement. I would not recommend this hostel to other people. |

Customer reviewQuite decent, however, toilet smelled very bad all the time and despite a sign right outside the room, saying people should be quit, the staff and probably owners made a lot of noise themselves one of the mornings. But all in all quite ok. |

Customer reviewThe rest of the hotel is very very nice. The receptionist was alright and didn't speak English that well. I had to wait 20 minutes until she finished a phone call just to get a key. I stayed in the dorm room which is in the basement and is rather creepy. Its a little musty and damp, but was a bed for a night. In the shower there is a huge opening to a chimney or something covered by a too small piece of plywood and half a shower curtain. The hotel is beautiful and they have bikes to rent. It is okay for one night but is outside the city walls and a far walk from the train station. |

Customer reviewThe dorm was in the basement, so it was really quiet. Probably cold in the winter, but for spring and summer its a pretty nice place. |

Guillermo Nigorra PascualThe rooms for 3 are really nice, clean, light and comfortable. However the room for 6 is located underground in something like a wine cellar. It´s cold and wet. If you are 6 people i would recomend two rooms for 3. |

Customer reviewI lived there one day before New Year's eve in the dorm bed. There were only me and the other girl in the 4 beds' room. It is in the basement, but I don't feel cold. The environment is quite clean. [LOCATION] It is not so close to the train station, but actually quite close to the bus stop. If you take the bus to the Porta S. Anna, the hostel is about 5 mins walk. But walking from train station, it is about 30 mins. [RENT BIKE] It is cheaper to rent the bike from this hostel than any other place I saw in Lucca. |

Gibb SueThe hostel was a great place for a family visiting Lucca and the surrounding area. We knew there were no cooking facilities, so were not disappointed, and with a family we do not tend to want places which are "great places to meet people and party", so were very happy with the hostel. We were upgraded to a really lovely suite of rooms, which gave our family, cramped after travelling in a small car in the rain, lots of space. The concierge was very friendly and helpful, with good advice when we needed it . Our car was safe in the parking area adjacent to the hostel. We would not have asked for more. The situation, within easy walking distance of the walled town yet easily accessible from main routes, was really great. |
