Liked: Comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom. Also TV in the room was great. Although they stuffed up my booking a little, Stefano was brilliant, going out of his way to help me out.

Liked: This hostel is in a quiet area a shortish walk from the city walls and the nearest gate into the city; with a bakery (serving coffees and croissants in the morning), grocer's shop and butcher just around the corner which made buying picnic lunch very easy! It was clean, tidy and excellent value for money. Having our own key and being able to come and go was especially nice. While sheets and blankets etc are provided, when we stayed there weren't any towels - luckily we had ours with us!! Also it is a little bit more than a 10 minute walk from the station - more like 15-20 depending on how fast you walk. All in all an excellent hostel and one that we will definitely revisit if we ever get back to Lucca.

Liked: More of a hotel, amazing rooms for your money, its very three star, but on that token, not so much of a party place.

Liked: This hostel was more like a hotel; there were four beds in a very nice room, and we had the room to ourselves. There was also a television in the room. It was a little bit dirty, and there was no kitchen, laundry or internet facilities but it was a nice change from dorm rooms.

Liked: The room which we had was in a converted wine celler, which had atmosphere, charactor and was huge.
