English is not widely spoken in the hotel, but the staff will always do their best to make their guests feel at home. Their many guests who return year after year suggest that they succeed in ensuring a pleasant stay!

Very characteristic and charming, each bedroom is different, but all are cosy and well maintained and are decorated in an informal, welcoming style.

There are 20 rooms. All rooms are soundproofed and have a bathroom, TV, direct-dial telephone and air conditioning. There is no elevator. There is a large parking lot inside the premises.

Lying just 500 miters from the walls of this ancient city, the hotel is a perfect base for your explorations of Lucca. One of Tuscany’s most enjoyable cities, the town was an ancient Etruscan centre before the invasion of the Romans, who laid out a street grid which survives to this day.

There is even a surviving Roman amphitheatre at the heart of the town ... now the venue for regular markets, and with shops and apartments occupying the ancient walls.
