Rifugio Delle Poiane

Rifugio Delle Poiane is a magic and romantic old country house and estate in the village of Ripabella, 45 Km from Livorno and just 35 Km from Volterra.

This place is a special wildlife reserve with deer, wild boars, birds and other wild and domestic animals. In the close surroundings there are many beautiful paths for hiking and exploring the nature. It is an ideal setting for relaxation and excursions, far from the hectic city confusion and noises.

Our Refuge was built with pink and grey stones and completely renovated according to the principles of bio-architecture. The house is on the top of a breathtaking hill, surrounded by oak, olives and cork trees. In the road to our Refuge you can view the sea and the sunny islands of Elba, Capraia and Corsica. A few steps from the house you can find a river, the "Torignanino".

The atmosphere of the place evoques silence, calls the spirit to relaxation, meditation and healing helping to come back to the natural psychophysical balance.

Accommodation Information

We offer double, triple and quadruple rooms with private bathroom. There is a beautiful meeting room for stages, courses or groups with a maximum of 12 people.
Breakfast is included.
Is it also possible (on request) to have a traditional Tuscan dinner for the price of 20 Euros with wine included.
