The camping is completely inside the green, inside the Natural Park of Montemarcello along the shores of the Magra’s river, for his strategic position between Liguria and Tuscany the Camping River is the perfect place for whoever desires to visit places of historical and naturalistic importance.

Few minutes of car-driving are enough to reach the marvelous Gulf of the Poets, the Cinque Terre, famous in the world for their naturalistic shine, the ancient roman port of Luni and its archaeological museum, Carrara and the caves of marble, Pisa and the leaning tower, Lucca with its ancient boundaries and its theatres.

Location Information

Around 7 km from the camping, Sarzana is a town rich for the history of art and deserves a visit for churches and buildings.
During the summer there are different markets, among which that of the antiquaries in the month of August. Following the SS Aurelia we find other ancient medieval suburbs of notable interest: Luni, Ortonovo, Castelnuovo Magra and Fosdinovo.
