Liked: Fantastic! Essiale is a beautiful place to stay and I highly recommend it. The rooms are lovely, the staff helpful and considerate and it is easy to walk to the city centre from.

Disliked: Although it is located quite close to the train station (meaning you can hear the trains running) this should not be an issue unless you are highly sensitive to noise.

Liked: The bedrooms were big and comfortable and all rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard and the breakfasts were fantastic. The owners mother in law who looked after us during our stay although could not speak any English was friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome.

Disliked: Although we were respectful to other guests when we came back to the B & B in the evening other guests were not so considerate and would talk in the corridor to the rooms which was amplified into the rooms.

Liked: This was an amazing place to stay- we were very impressed with every aspect of Essiale B&B. The owner was incredibly helpful and made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. He prepared a delicious breakfast and we couldn't have asked for a better experience in Genova.

Disliked: No complaints! Every detail was taken care of.

Liked: Paola was a wonderful, friendly and helpful host. Fast and Free wifi, lovely free breakfast. Very clean.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The owners of this B&B who made us feel at home and took great care of us even when sick. Breakfast was delicious, freshly made with homemade cakes

Disliked: For noise sensitive people not recommended as very close to the station, we had no problems though and slept tight

Liked: it is very very close to the train station. the couple that run the place are great people. the lady makes bakes pies and things for breakfast, just to let you know how much they care about the customers. and in the room i stayed in there was a huge flat screen tv, which didn't take away from the cozy environment that they mantain around the b and b.
