Liked: a very well managed hostel. clean, safe with friendly staff.

Disliked: when there is great view, you have to use more time to reach the hostel. if you only interested in the city life, this hostel is not a good choice.

Liked: Location has pros and cons, when you accept that it is pretty far outside, you get an incredible view

Liked: the staff will introduce about how to travel genova, i think it is very helpful. you can get free wifi and the room is clean

Disliked: because they do not arrange specific , some guy quarrel for beds even at midnight. also someone talked very loudly outside so it made me very hard to sleep the first night at this totel

Liked: It was the only cheap accommodation available. You can rent a padlock if you forgot your own.

Disliked: It is far away from the center/old town/harbor (20-30 minutes). The bus only runs every 20-30 minutes after 8 pm from the center to the hostel. Staff was unfriendly. There are too many and too complicated rules. They are not placed in one place but you need to find them everywhere (many different papers at the reception, more in the elevator, more in the floors and even more in the room & restrooms. Sorry but this is not acceptable. The bed/mattress is a nightmare! In my room, people came during the whole night up to 3 am. You could hear often drunken people screaming/singing, constant loud music (I am not sure whether it came from the hostel or a disco/club nearby) and its very loud bass/subwoofer as you need to sleep with windows open (otherwise you die because it is too hot!).

Liked: The staff is very nice, the place is really big with a lot of young people, it has the greatest view of Genoa, a big terrace with banches. It's a good place to stay in Genoa.

Disliked: The only inconvinience for me was that there are no cooking facilities, no kitchen, no nothing where you can prepare something to eat.

Liked: It is the only one cheap hostel in Genova so I recommend it, because you have no other choice. It's quiet good: clean, with lockers.

Disliked: You have to leave hostel from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Not in the center, so you have to take a bus to get there

Liked: Great panoramic views of Genova! Quite a big hostel, easy to get to know a lot of young travelers from all over the world.

Disliked: May be, quite far from the center, although easily accessible by bus. A big hostel, many people -- not everybody may like it.

Liked: It was secure, fairly clean and had excellent views over genova. Staff were friendly and very helpful and there was free wifi, if you managed to get onto the one computer.

Disliked: It was a trek to the hostel, but the buses were regular and easy to use/find, and the view made the bus journey well worth it. The rooms could do with aircon, as the heat meant windows were opened by other guests and mosiquitos were everywhere!

Liked: I'd been travelling for a few weeks at this point and had just come from somewhere that had resembled a shack in the back of someone's garden. This hostel was like a paradise. It's clean, safe, plenty of showers, massive common room, vending machines, free interenet, free wifi. Some people have called it clinical but it was perfect for me at the time. When you arrive in Genoa it is dirty and dusty, and everything's massive and it's swarming with rogue scooters. Getting the bus to the hostel takes you up out of that and to a beautfiul vantage point over the city, which looks particularly stunning at night. The bus runs all the time, takes about 30 minutes, €1.50 each way. Staff were helpful.

Disliked: Only that you had to pay for breakfast.

Liked: front desk was like a travel agency and concierge! super helpful with maps and advice. the bus ride up to the hostel is like a roller coaster, but was one of the highlights of my 4 week italy vacation. once you get there, the views are spectacular!

Disliked: beds were a little thin and short

Liked: Rely nice and helpfully staff with great ideasfor day trips to beaches and stuff. The view (once you make it to the hostel) is amazing.

Disliked: It isn't near to town and there is only vending machine food but they tell you all of that before. Make sure you bring some food with you!

Liked: The hostel is big and has many rooms. the facilities they offer are good and arranged for the number of people. there is a large dinner room where you can buy some food or drinks aut of the machines. there was no alcohol when I was there. the toilets were ok but they should be cleaned more often. the showers also looked okay. the location is average, it is on top of a mountain. this gaves a great view of the city and the harbour but when you want to go to the citycentre it is a bit far out and youll have to take a cap or take the bus (25 minutes). There are two busses w hich you could take (40 and 640) and the 40 goes often.

Disliked: it is a bit far from the old town and the toilets could be cleaned more often.

Liked: i liked the view a lot. because it's up a mountain you get an amazing view over genova and suroundings. I liked the helpfullnes of the staff.

Disliked: the commen area. it's like a dininghall in a university. plastic chairs attached to the tables. not realy a place to meet people. The hostel is really big so it gets a bit impersonal. the showers need extra hooks to put your clothes up.

Liked: Wonderful views. The staff were genuinely nice and accommodating. Only good to say about the staff.

Disliked: The lockers by the rooms are shoddy. I felt a little uneasy for the safety of my valuables. Do NOT associate food with this place!!! No cooking facilities! No fresh anything in the terrible cheap boxed breakfast. The nearby pizza restaurant is nowhere near as good as places by and in the city center. Take the bus!
