Liked: Very good location, clean and safe I had a private single room and whilst it resembled a little prison cell (I say that with affection) I would recommend this hostel to any traveller.

Liked: they were very helpful and booked reservations for the academia and uffizi museums....like the location for the train and walkable in all of florence

Liked: It was very central - 5 mins walk from station and only 10 mins walk to duomo, catedrale. Very clean and woman on reception was very helpful. Only thing was that we were in room facing street so was bit noisy at night but fine with earplugs. I don't know about if the atmosphere was good because i stayed in a double room, not a dorm.

Liked: excellent service and friendly staff. The room was kept clean and new sheets and towels were given on a daily basis. the location was extremely central -- very close to the train station and all other attractions around the city. only complaint was that the noise level was high -- walls are thin and it was easy to hear other people talking in their rooms or using the shower, etc. other than that, the Tourist House was a charming and nice place to stay!

Liked: Location is great! It is close to the train station. Unlike the area around the train station in other European cities, the hostel is located in a rather safe neighborhood.

Liked: Great central location with plenty of character. Staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. If you want a quiet and convenient place to stay, Tourist House comes highly recommended.
