Fred DiwellVery close to the centre of the city, within walking distance of buses, trains, tourist info office. Very clean and tidy, basicly appointed rooms with locable security wardrobes. I was put in a mixed dorm room, ye ha!!!!!! |

Customer reviewI was surprised at the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms. The beds were made every day. The size of the room, or at least mine with four people was quite roomy. The room even had a TV. It felt secure especially my stuff in the cabinets accompanied by our own individual locks. |

Customer reviewBrilliant location, close to train station and walking distance to all sights in Florence, large room (we stayed in a double room), ceiling fan in room, communal fridge (no kitchen). Florence is so beautiful with gorgeous sunsets each night, and this hostel (more like a hotel) helped us enjoy every minute of our time here. Reception staff speak little english, but enough to help you plan your time in Florence. They reserved us a spot for the two main museums/galleries and this saved us a lot of queuing time! Thank you!! |

Customer reviewThe location is great in relation to the station and all the sights, not to mention I had heavy bags when I arrived and heavier ones when I left! It is very clean with just a few quirks in the share bathrooms. Be sure NOT to get a room with a glass door (only 2 of them) as you will get lights all night and the noise from other rooms, otherwise the rooms are good and have the same noise as all Hotels in Firenze in terms of street noise (take your ear plugs if you're a light sleeper). The staff are really nice and obliging and will book you into the 'hard to get into' museums apparently, I forgot this and lined up for an hour to Uffizi Museum, even at 8am. Although breakfast is not part of the deal, there is a fridge. There is also a cheap internet in the same street (about €2 per hr) and be sure to try the restaurant 'Trebbio' nr one of the curves in Via del Moro, about 30-50m away. Just around the corner is a typical laundromat, about €3.50 a wash or dry. I ended up staying there 10 nights as I used Firenze as a base to seeing Siena, San Gimi., Lucca, Viareggio, Fiesole etc. and it was a good 'home' to come back to each day, especially as a single traveller. It's great value and who needs flashy when you're out all day?! Definitely recommend this place. |
