Our beautiful guesthouse is very characteristic and situated in the Florentine historical centre. “Locanda Gallo” is located in one of the most important "historical sectors" of Florence the San Lorenzo area

We restructured our rooms and hall in April 2007.

We have:

- Reception where you can stay and use our computer
- n. 3 trple room private room with bathroom
- n. 2 Triple private room with bathroom - one with kitchen corner
- n. 3 Double private room with bathroom and kitchen corner

Our rooms are all private and they are clean, full of light and newly furnished. Everyone has his own personal set of keys.

All rooms are private with bathroom en suite, TV, WI-FI Internet access for free, air-conditioning and lockers in room. We have no curfew so you can come and go as you please. Some of our double rooms have kitchens and are the ideal choice for those who want to rent for a longer period.

We are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the Palace (from the Florentine 14th century) which hosted the "Spedale dei Cavalieri di Malta!"**

Locanda Gallo is located on a historical Florentine building, so it is really traditional, with a small entrance and nice little stairs.



And if you just want the ordinary necessities you will find all of the following close by:

* The open-air market of San Lorenzo!

There is no 24 hour reception; just check in at arrival, your stay in Florence will be like being in your own home! If you need anything we will be there in a second...as we only live next door!

There is a picture of the entrance of our Guest House, have a good look at it as we do not have a large sign on our door…when you get here just ring the bell – Locanda Gallo!

Note:
Usual Check in time is from 10:00 am to 22:00 pm. Please let us know the exact time of your arrival so that we can organize this – you also need to inform us if you plan to arrive at a different time, if your change your arrival time advice us because there will be nobody waiting for you and you could wait outside for hours.


PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT ALWAYS PRESENT AT THE GUEST HOUSE - SO YOU HAVE TO TELL US YOUR ARRIVAL TIME - TKS

We have a 1-day cancellation policy - if you cancel the reservation one week in advance.

If you do not show, we will charge one night fee.

Our check out time is compulsory at 11:00 am.

Accommodation Information

We have triple room with bathroom and double room with bathroom. All rooms have bathroom en suite, air conditioning, TV, mirror. We also have some studio with kitchen corner. Wi-fi connection is available for free.

We are really well located, with the Central Railway Station only a 15 minutes walk away. From there you can explore Florence; have a look at the list of close by locations to see how fantastically situated we really are:

- The Duomo – 15 minute walk
- The David – 10 minutes walk
- Santa Maria Novella train station – 20 minutes walk
- Galleria dell' Accademia (original David of Michelangelo) – 500 meters!!
- Cathedral – 400 meters
- Uffizi Gallery – 800 meters
