Liked: Very central location - 200 m from station - not far from ALL tourist attractions. Vast array of food outlets everywhere. Staff were great, with plenty of advice and help with booking, etc.

Liked: Brilliant cheap internet on both pc in room and free wireless. Sky tv in bedroom too! Nice balcony for the late night cigarette and an adorable old fashioned lift to get up to the hotel. Close walking distance to everything, but Florence is brilliant for that anyway. Free calls on skype to most countries. Helpful people; quite a cute place really.

Disliked: Bathroom left a little to be desired, but you're only in there about 20 minutes right?

Liked: The people could not have been more welcoming. The room had a beautiful balcony and sky TV. Free calls to the UK. Free laundry. I would certainly recommend this to anybody looking to stay in Florence.

Liked: Very friendly staff, ready to help you with anything at any time, they speak English very well. Free wifi is great. Great location, within walking distance from major sites plus just across the street from the train station, near the bus station.

Liked: The private accommodations were great!! We had a nice flatscreen TV and computer in the room, and there was a Skype phone in the kitchen we could use to make international calls. It's very close to the train station and an easy walk to all the sights. While in Florence you should go to a restaurant called Tattoria Za Za; it's amazing and well priced.

Liked: We stayed at Maison de Charme, which was also owned by Luna Rossa. Facilities were first-class; everything in the room was exactly as stated, just no webcam. The Internet was down intermittently, but it could have been a problem with the provider rather than the owner. The laundry service was awesome - we left our clothes in a bag and they were washed and laid out to dry when we got back. Ana was extremely helpful, pointing out the main sights in Florence, as well as where to eat. All in all, you'll generally find that Luna Rossa is like home. It was the best accommodation we had, albeit the priciest too. You'll love it!

Disliked: Rather pricey, as well as the intermittent Internet connection.

Liked: Great place to stay! They did my laundry, showed me the importance places to see, and booked several tours for me. Very close to the train station and you can walk to all the major attractions.

Liked: Ana and Marco were wonderful, helped us in many ways. There was a fully equipped kitchen available, free use of computers and wifi, as well as free skype calls out of Italy were all very useful. Would definitely stay again if visiting Florence!

Liked: This was a great place to stay. We had a huge, clean room for a great price. My only hesitations are that it's close to the train station (great for when you arrive and great location during the day) but not ideal at night (it's not dangerous, just not perfect) and although the staff is super super super nice and helpful (they called and made all our museum reservations for us) there isn't always someone there, but there is always someone at the hotel they own across the street (Hotel Ester).

Liked: The place was really close to the train station, which was great. The staff though were probably the best part of our stay. They really helped a lot and got us a great tour on the Best of Tuscany bus tour. They also got us reservations at the Acadamy to see David and helped us figure out the train schedule. The location was really close to the train station, so when you first arrive it is pretty easy to find. The only down side to being close to the train station was that there was a homeless guy sleeping near the entrance to our hostel. He was there both nights when we came back at night, but he did not bother us or anything.

Liked: Room was a bit airless and stuffy despite my airing out. Common bathroom and room floor can be kept cleaner. Staff very helpful.

Liked: The owner of Luna Rossa has 3 places. Be sure to ask for Luna Rossa - they might try to put you up in Hotel Ester but ask specifically for Luna Rossa.The rooms are big with all the essentials and more - computer in the room, flat TV, bathrooms either in or outside the room are spacious and new and with all the essentials. Large kitchen packed with pots, dishes, etc, a refrig, oven, and stove. They do laundry for free.The staff was wonderful - the owner and his sister are very helpful and give great advice about what to do in Florence and in Tuscany.The location is great. There aren't many rooms on the floor so it is quite.I strongly recommend this hostel.
