Liked: It felt like I was actually staying in a home as opposed to a hostel. Very friendly and welcoming.It was a 2 minute walk from the train station, which is exactly what you want when you have all your bags and its a very easy walk to the main sights. Theres a great street market five minutes away as well as great gelati 50m down the road.The staff were so friendly and helpful!!

Liked: Free internet in room, free satelite tv in room, free laundrey, warm friendly staff, nice comfortable rooms and beds, quiet and in a great location next to the train station and close to all the sites

Liked: Marco and his staff were very fiendly and helpful - even greeting you on the street if you met them. Hostel (which seems to be a series of buildings - I stayed in the MAson De Charme) is very well located adjacent to train station and walking distance of all the sights. Room was compact, clean and well presented. Mine was a private dingle had ensuite, PC with Internet and Sky TV. Most importantly it all felt secure. I would recommend this hostel. Florence is a beautiful city and this is a great place to stay!

Liked: Marco, one of the owners, is a nice guy and upgraded us for one night, to an amazing room with an LCD TV, a computer, a huge double bed, air conditioning, heating, private bathroom and shower etc.However, we did come back to the hostel late one night and had to wait an hour in the cold street since he was not there, and left a "Will be right back" sign.So, just make sure you always have a key, and enjoy your stay - awesome place.

Liked: We basically stayed in a really nice hotel for a much cheaper price. We had a computer with internet access in our room. It was in a great location. It was close to the train station and five minutes from the duomo.

Liked: Location, Location, Location... 2 Blocks from the Station, and with everything close by.Marco was by far one of the best hosts I've had... Anything I needed, he was there with info, even before I asked sometimes. And when I didn't need him, he didn't intrude.The cheapest Hostel in Florence cash wise, yet it provided Internet with a PC, Flat screen TV with Sat., and an atmosphere so safe, I was able to watch Vacancy without worrying.I couldn't have had a better stay anywhere short of a 4-star hotel.

Liked: Marco was a fabulous host. The hostel was amazing with your own internet access in your room!!! The room was clean, tidy and big. It was a great place to stay in Florence and close to train, supermarket and tourist attractions - well worth the money :-)

Liked: Well, of course, I would say the highest selling point of this hostel would be Marco himself. He was super friendly, helpful and ready to find any way to make our stay better. #1 in service and internet in each room is ALWAYS a plus for traveling students like ourselves.

Liked: Marco was great and so helpful. He helped us find a rental car and let us keep pour luggage in the hostel after we had checked out but we're leaving right away. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.
