Schuyler LevineThe owner, Marco, was extremely helpful. He takes pride in his properties and wants his customers to enjoy their stay. He personally suggested many interesting things to do while in Florence. In addition, our laundry was done for us by the cleaning lady. We recommend Luna Rossa! |

Customer reviewCleanest, nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. More like a hotel than a hostel. Room was large and spotless with Sky TV (channels available in English), a computer in the room with free internet and a Skype headset ,and air con that actually works! We stayed an extra 2 nights and Marco was very helpful and arranged for us to stay in the same room. |

Customer reviewThe only downside to the hostel was its lack of breakfast, which Marco has advertised as something coming soon. Otherwise, the rooms were great! We had a perfect view of Santa Maria Novella church from our window. The satellite TV and computer access were also good bonuses! This isn't really a hostel where there is a large crowd of people to meet, but we preferred the quietness. For a couple wanting to explore the area, Luna Rossa works perfectly! The staff gave us a map and suggested places to see besides the Duomo, David, and Uffizi and we took them on that offer. Oh, and if you stay here, Antico Noe was a great place to get paninis, even if it was some distance from here (worth the walk!). |

Michaelo MagsipocThis booking was actually an extension of the 7 nights that I had previously rated and the same impressions apply. Marco (the host) was such a nice guy. |

Michaelo MagsipocI was actually billeted at the Maison du Charme which was just as close to the train station (the best way to travel around Italy) as Luna Rossa, elavator provided. All the major Florence attractions are within comfortable walking distance. I had a big LCD TV screen with access to CNN and FOX networks, a computer inside the room with SKYPE connection that enabled me to contact the host and/or staff till late at night, it also enabled me to call anyone in the US free of charge. There was a washer in the facility that saved me laundry money and they provided a contraption to hang your clothes to dry. Marco and staff (Natasha, Vera, and Virginie) were all very nice and accommodating. Luna Rossa was certainly one of the main reasons I had a great time in Florence and I will definitely stay here again when I come back. |

Customer reviewMarco is amazing, an absolute joy. He is very helpful and friendly. There is another woman who stays in the Luna Rossa annex, inside Hotel Nazionale (holiday rooms). She is a grouchy crumudgeon and needs to go hide inside her refuse can with Oscar. Total downer. Other than that, the place was amazing and I would highly recommend it . |

Customer reviewEXCELLENT!! Great location. Steps away from the station and within walkable distance to all attractions. Vibrant shopping districts and great restaurants nearby. The staff speaks perfect English and is very helpful in organizing tours for us. Internet in our room 24/7 and plasma TV that allows any program to be watched in the original language. The best budget hotel we ever stayed at by a long shot. |

Customer reviewWe appreciated washing mashine in the kitchen and a big shared living room with TV and computer (and Wi-Fi too!) Easily reachable and silent place at Via Cennini 6 (please note that Luna Rossa operates in three different location, the main is at Via Nazionale 7) |
