Liked: Friendly staff that spoke good English, kitchen available so you can cook meals to save money, less than a minute walk from the train station, satellite TV in the room, clean facilities, free computer with internet in the room as well, and less than a 10 minute walk from the Duomo so great location! I would highly recommend this hostel to other travelers!

Liked: Marco, the proprietor, owns several smallish hotels very near the central train station. The youngish staff is extremely kind and helpful. They washed my clothes, let me use a Skype phone, and booked reservations at Uffizi and Accademia. Internet and Sky available in the clean room, which had an amazing view over the city. Free use of well-equipped kitchen. Other travellers were friendly. Very highly recommended.

Liked: very clean, nice rooms, well furnished with bathroom and all facilities available. very central!!! right next to the central train station and a 15 minute walk from all the main sights. definitely worth it!

Liked: My wife and I stayed at Luna Rossa for a period of 8 nights. Marco, the owner was very nice even when we got in at 11pm, he was there to greet us, and help us with our bags to the room he upgraded for free for us.The room was spectacular. We had a balcony looking over the city, a free computer to use, free satellite T.v. in ENGLISH. They washed all our clothes for us, our private bathroom was kept up great as was our room which was cleaned daily. The kitchen in our particular building had everything we needed to cook an amazing dinner with.Location, Location, LOCATION!When a person visits Florence, they have much to see and over a city with places everywhere to stay it gets overwhealming. This location was perfect! We had two markets within 400 meters of our place, the center of the city was 5-10 minutes away, and the food around our place was awesome!Let me help you decide, book right now, don't wait, just do it. This is a great place, and you will be happy you did it. Enjoy the city, we are off to Rome next and this place will be hard to top.

Liked: Luna Rossa was the best place we have stayed in while in Europe. It is in the perfect location- really close to everything without being in a noisy neighborhood. The people working at Luna Rossa are the nicest we've met, they were amazing and so helpful with booking museum reservations. By far the best value! The amenities are amazing!!

Liked: Even tho close to train station was quiet.Lovely clean facilities with very comfortable beds. Great value for money. Exceptionally helpful staff especially if your 1st time in Florence. Well set up kitchen for self catering. Met very nice people here.

Liked: Highly recommended. I stayed in a private in suite room. The room was cleaned every day, quiet air con, good bathroom, well equiped kitchen, great location 5 minute walk from train station, and a short walk to the main sights, plus a computer with free internet in the room. There is also a Skype phone for use by guests. Outstanding value.

Liked: It would be difficult to find a more friendly and helpful manager than Marco! Spacious apartment with three separate bedrooms and good facilities. Ideal location, especially for train travellers.

Liked: Lovely place. Great location 2 minutes from the Train Station, 5 or 6 minutes from the Duomo etc. Supermarket and restaurants nearby.We stayed in the building next to Luna Rossa and it was lovely. En-suite double room with Internet PC, fridge and Sky TV. Also had access to a kitchen which was very useful.

Liked: really friendly and helpful staff. our rooms were cleaned every day and we had a safe to store valuables. lots of facilties on offer at no extra cost which is great if you're on a budget! we would stay here again

Liked: This place was awesome! For the price a private double or twin room which wax great value, they gave us a luxury hotel with free sky tv, skype, pc with internet and a balcony with use of a shared kitchen.

Liked: Marco is such a helpful host, helped us with heaps of advice. We stayed in the building next to Luna Rossa but this was fine. Big room, very good bathroom, all private. Loved having a computer in our room. Also free skype calls to NZ was an unexpected bonus. location within easy walking distance to major attractions and Marco told us where to go and when. Great service. Thanks

Liked: One of the very best hostels i've stayed in. Excellent facilities and very close to the railway station. All the best attractions are within walking distance. The staff were very friendly, and helpful and were only too happy to make reservations for attractions. A hostel with a personal touch, Highly reccommended, would go again!Highly recommend
