This was one of my favorite hostels on my whole three week trip. The homemade breakfast in the morning was AWESOME and we had not one, but two, security lockers, one small and one big one. The rooms were nice and the place was home-y feeling. The location was great too: right near the train station, but far enough away from the busy-ness of the center of town. The internet wasn't working for the first day we were there, but was up by the second day and was free, which was great. Overall, I would totally recommend this place to anyone!

the breakfast is definitely a refreshing change from the usual biscotti and spreads that most other hostel offer - the simple fact that there is hot food (even though it's just simple omelette and bacon) makes a lot of difference, plus there is yoghurt, cereal (chocolate flakes and cornflakes), sponge and marble cake, wide range of spreads (jam, peanut butter, butter, nutella), bread, milk, fruit juice (red orange, tropical fruit), which makes a very sumptuous and comprehensive meal. the colours used for bedding and cupboards in the hostel are also very bright and cherry which made the whole stay generally quite enjoyable. friendliness of the staff was questionable though, and the limited number of toilets meant that there was often a queue to use the toilets/showers in the morning and they became quite dirty towards the night. there was also only one computer with internet, which meant a constant queue for it. left luggage facility was also equivalent to leaving your luggage stuffed precariously in a cupboard meant for storing washing/cleaning up equipment.

Close to Firenze SMN. A little hard to find because the number on the houses are different than expected. Friendly manager.

Awesome hostel! It is in a great location, just 3minutes from the train station. It is a pretty small place, very easy to feel right at home, especially with the homecooked breakfast every morning with bacon, eggs, toast, cereal, ect. Would definately stay there again!!

An absolute pleasure, my favorite place of my entire Europe trip. Huge rooms with high ceilings; sturdy bunk beds with nice bedding; enormous lockers; very clean bathrooms with good water pressure. There's a very impressive full breakfast, including the only eggs, bacon and peanut butter I had my whole trip. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

A very nice place with an awesome location! Definitely a great place to stay. Just make sure of your check in time beforehand - there's not always a staff member there.

I was traveling alone, but I enjoyed myself. The hostel is very cozy and located VERY close to the train station, which was perfect. It's a pretty busy street, so I didn't feel unsafe and there are lots of Americans living on this street as well. The breakfast was not all that, but it was a step up from your typical hostel breakfast. Very clean. I thought I booked an all female dorm, but that wasn't the case. There was always one guy in my room, but never more than three people for a six person room, so, I guess that was the catch. I'd stay here again though.

We had a really good time here. Clara is really nice and very helpful, but make sure you do contact her with your arrival time. Really good location and close to some really nice places to eat. Her breakfast is really nice to. We meet some really nice people from all over the world and enjoy a drink in the common room every night with them. Really cool place thats kinda small but personal.

decent hostel in a good location. missed out on the breakfast though as we had to get an early train! 9am is a bit late for breakfast sometimes. nice friendly staff. the cleaner bust in on the bedroom without knocking, quite early in the morning, but this seems to happen in the majority of hostels in my experience!

Home-cooked breakfast where the owner comes to our room to wakes us up for breakfast every morning at 9am. So, you won't need alarm clock at all.

The woman who runs the property (Clara) is fun, friendly and helpful as is the other woman on staff. The hostel is small and clean, making it an easy place to get to know fellow travellers. It is in a safe area, close to major attractions, and the hostel staff provided us with a map of the area, indicating where everything of importance is located and suggesting the best ways to get around. Internet is free and relatively fast. There is a small common room with a stereo and Cd's that you can play whenever you want. Clara cooks a free homemade breakfast every morning and even when we were leaving before breakfast time, she set aside some food for us to take along on the train. She also did our laundry for us while we went out touring - so that we didn't have to spend all day washing and folding. It was by far the best hostel on my trip, and one of the cheapest. I would recommend it to anyone!
