Customer reviewThis was a very small, fun hostel to stay in. We booked a private room and the shower was right in the room - not in a separate ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was homemade and very nice. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay. |

Wendy NgThe location is convenient enough. But half the dorm rooms facing the alley is extremely noisy, you hear the early morning street cleaners and the late night bar hoppers. It would also be better if they had regular reception hours for any questions about internet outages and other tourist info. The breakfast is excellent though! |

Customer reviewIt`s a small and cosy hostel in the town centre so everything is close and it`s really not expensive. The sheets are clean, the breakfast is ok and the staff was really nice. On your arrival you get a free map of Florence and instructions on how to get to the most important places in town. Your stuff is safe in your room because u get a locker with a key and u can also deposit your bagagge in the hostel after cheching out (while your`re waiting for your train or bus). The only downside is that there`s no aircondition (just fans on the celing) so in the summer it`s really hot during the day. |

Malgorzata DelisWhat I appreciated the most was Lilly's help (the woman making sure everything worked ok.) with recommending places to visit, her eagerness to solve any problem and answer any question you could come up with. She also made sure the place was very clean, almost spotless. A really good job! The beds were comfortable and the linen was new and clean. The place is easy to find and its location is absolutely perfect. I was also grateful for the breakfast being included in the price, because it was big and gave you energy for the whole day of walking and sightseeing - Saved you trouble to organise it on your own. I really enjoyed my stay in the hostel. |

Customer reviewI had a great stay at Albergo Paola. Would definitely recommend it to others. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple and small, but good. The location was great, so close to the train station and within easy walking distance of the central market area and restaurants. The hostel is small, just the half portion of the 3rd floor. Rooms all had a great view and were good sized for multiple bunks and people. Definite plus is free locker use with lock and key provided. My only complaints are that it does not have air conditioning, but the temperature was manageable, and that it got really loud when the other people in the hostel decided to drink and have a party in the common room. They played drinking games and were shouting very loud through the late evening into the early morning hours. In the morning I found vomit in the bathroom. Sorry to be so graphic. I wish there had been some rules in regards to what is allowed within the hostel after midnight and it would have been nice to have had someone clean up the bathroom before others had to suffer the grossness of it. |

Dino GuaianiPlace is impeccably clean, security is excelent : Keys to enter building at night, PIN number to enter the hostel, keys for the room, keys for a spacious locker and a small night stand. Located on a street with very little straffic but a lot of noisy night life. Lady that runs the place may seem cold at first but she is very helpfull and nice (when she's there). Hostel is on the highest floor and without an elevator. Computer with free internet. Free breackfast with eggs. Fairly good showering facilities. Price is good. Not a fun hostel. |

Jonathan ClarkeBest Hostel I have stayed at. Clara spoke great English. You get 2 lockers for yourself in your dorm. Great cooked breakfast. Place is always clean which wasgood. And its 3 mins from the train station. Coming to Florence, STAY HERE! |
