Liked: Very nice bed and the lady (owner) was very nice with us (at least when we got in, we left sunday morning very early and took her out of bed). Not lot to offer, but a very good price. The room seemed very clean also.

Disliked: The bathroom was ridiculously small. Even smaller than that. And when you took a shower, everythin inside the bathroom would get wet.

Liked: good location, especially if driving, places to park the car around the property and only a 10 minute walk into the city centre. Would more describe it as a bed and breakfast (without the breakfast) rather than a hostel. Good for couples wanting it more quiet/privacy.

Disliked: the wifi kept cutting in and out, but very minor point would not stop me staying here or recomending this place

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: My girlfriend and I booked a "private double ensuite" as a treat after having been in dorms on the rest of our trip. We were given BUNK BEDS - albeit in a private room with an ensuite. When I suggested that there was a mistake the lady said that the room WAS a double and that there was no error. Bunk beds is not a double room. There was a TV in the room but the plug didn't fit into the wall - it needed an adaptor, as did the fridge. Our 'air conditioning' was a noisy desk fan. The door did not lock from the inside, only the outisde, so the room wasn't as 'private' as it suggested. So from our experience DO NOT STAY HERE, IT IS FALSELY ADVERTISED.

Liked: very clean room and toilet, it is like hotel not hostel. Staff is really friendly and helpful.

Liked: The lady was nice and location is not bad (about 10-15 min. from the Santa Maria Novella Railway Station, 20-25 from the Duomo).

Disliked: The bathroom was tiny (like 1 sqm, including toilet, sink and shower). Most of the space in the room was taken up by the bed.

Liked: Big, spacious room. Fridge. Had airconditioning.

Disliked: The shower is not seperated from the rest of the bathroom at all, so every time you shower water goes all over the entire room. Airconditioner very noisy.

Liked: Clean and interesting interior

Disliked: Though internet was advertised as included there was not any. It would be good if they specified which rooms are attic rooms with very low ceilings because we could not stand up in three quarters of the room.

Liked: the decoration of this hostel is great and the room is very clean.

Disliked: the bathroom is extremely small. I´m a petite size girl and the bathroom (including shower) size is barely have enough space for me to change my clothes inside. when you take a shower, which doesnt have curtain, definitely made whole bathroom all wet and possibly outside of the bathroom even though my friend and I took the shower in the small oppostie corner in it. the hostel owner disappeared after letting my friend and I in the hostel.

Liked: It's definatly more like a bed and breakfast rather than a hostel. It's run out a womens home and she was really friendly but we didn't see her or anyone else for that matter expect when we arrived and when we left. The rooms were really nice and everything was really clean. Its a little bit of a walk into the city about 5-10mins but if you dont mind that it's definatly worth it. Its a very safe and quiet place to stay!

Liked: Great value for money. Close to railway station and city centre, friendly and helpful stuff, clean rooms and overall nice atmosphere. No Internet though (so I had to go to nearby McDonalds for free wi fi), yet having private room with a shower in the city centre for 10 euro daily really compensates for this. If I go to Florence again, I would stay in this place.

Liked: This place was very nice. We took double ensuite in the attic. The air conditioning was very good since December's evening are cool, even in Italy :) Near the Persefone's Palace the train station (Firenze Statuto) is located (3 mins on feet), also the supermarket named Esselunga is about 7-8 minutes far. Siniora Maddalana was very helpful with telling us about nice trattoria near via Strozzi. Great place for taking a rest after all day of walking in Florence.From the train stations to this place is about 20 minutes, but it's good for health :)

Liked: A bit out of town, the room was ok, except for the amount of mozzies we found. There were a fair few already splattered on the wall and we had the windows closed, but killed more than 30 on our first night.
