Liked: I could meet some people, one of the staff was friendly and helpful, and the bath was good.

Disliked: I booked a shared room with 5 beds, and they putted me in another room with 7 beds. I asked why and they said they were overbooked, because the bad weather. Anyway, I had to pay the same price! Totally unfair!

Liked: Staff was amazing!! The place is in the most central location ever ad made seeing sights extremely easy. The place was fabulous and lots of great people stayed there.

Disliked: There were no activities or scheduled places to go out at night. Other hostels I have stayed at have specials with bars and they go out every night. Masion did not have this and so no one ever went out. I would come home as early as 1 am and everyone would be asleep.

Liked: Cool place to stay if you want to mingle with other travelers and stay in a not so expensive place.

Liked: the location was the only good thing about this hostel.

Disliked: Stay somewhere else. The staff weren't very helpful, the kitchen is very limited in facilities, only 2 bathrooms for 16 people, we booked a 5 bed dorm and had six people in there, it is extremely noisy on the streets at night and early morning. No breakfast.

Liked: Great location. Excellent price.

Disliked: No breakfast. Apparently the beds in the smaller room are pretty awful.

Liked: I liked the location. it was really close to the Duomo and other sights and very easy to walk all over the city from there.

Disliked: Just a regular hostel. But they crammed 15 beds into a two bedroom apartment and it only had 2 toilets/showers. The kitchen was very small. But for the money it was not bad just don't expect it to be like home. And the water gets cold very fast and has no pressure. but no bugs and no mold.

Liked: Okay location. Florence isn't big anyway. Social atmosphere, though we went during the off season so most people went to bed early and didn't want to party. Could be good or bad depending on what you are looking for.

Disliked: Beds not so great.

Liked: It's a great hostel - The atmosphere, the staff, the location, 2 kitchens. Easily one of the best Hostels I've stayed at. Very easy to interact with other travelers due to the common areas and the staff are always up for a chat.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: I liked the kitchen where everyone gathered to eat or just hang out away from their room. It was a nice area to meet new friends. I also liked how the staff showed us not only the places to see but also great places to eat.

Disliked: There really wasn't anything that I bothered me about this hostel.

Liked: Very close to the city center

Disliked: The night shift staff did not have a good temper; bed bugs; the stairs leading to the hostel (around 3-4 floor high!!!) - it will be really tiring to carry heavy luggage up to the hostel without elevator!

Liked: It was an appartment set with many beds so we guests interacted a lot and ran into each other so we had to chat. It was a great way to make friends.

Disliked: There were too few bathrooms for so many people.

Liked: I liked the location most, also liked that it felt comfy and warm.

Disliked: Not really bed and breakfast...I dont think coffee counts as breakfast.

Liked: Great location. Kitchen.

Disliked: Sheets were so thin (or old?) that you could almost see through them. Really annoying notices all over the place written by the (you'd expect) adult owners trying to sound 'cool', 'open minded' and 'easy-going'... things like "you're not allowed to do drugs, but if you do, don't forget to give us a bit". All those things looked stupid. A girl from Costa Rica had a serious argument with someone from the staff and the owner had to come to apologise (it seems that the guy she argued with tends to be generally rude).

Liked: Maison was very homey, clean and the people were nice. Not to mention the great price! I'd recommend it.

Liked: great people, like a small family with a good sized kitchen, a great hostel and right next to the duomo, the staff is very welcoming and they noted a map of Florence for us so we new what sites to see, and where to eat & drink.

Disliked: the long walk up the stairs.

Liked: Was an Italian apartment made into an hostel so you really get the feel of the city! And it is near everything important!

Disliked: When we first got there we were a little worried about the look of it but don't worry it is definitely nice (you just have to go upstairs)!!
