Liked: It's really good Hostel, the owner is very friendly.I've feel like I stayed with my internatinal family, talking and dining together.It's a really good place to find friends here!

Liked: feeling warm and happy, best place to meet friends

Disliked: the bed is not comfortable enough and there are some bugs to bit me on bed!

Disliked: The bed was a little scratchy, but i was so drunk when i fell asleep it didn't matter.

Liked: Very friendly and fun staff. Free dinner acts as a good platform to know more people in addtion to saving money. Even red wine's offered for free. Extremely good location, only 3 min away from Duomo.

Disliked: The bed sheet and blanket is a bit old and doesn't feel very clean. Rooms facing the street is a little bit noisy in the evening.

Liked: Free breakfast and dinner (with wine) really good and the location is right near the duomo and easy walking distance to everything. Feels like a big sharehouse more than anything. Very social and good for meeting people.

Liked: The rooms were very spacious, staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful, a very relaxed hostel. The dinners at night were SO GOOD! Saved us so much money. Breakfast in the morning is great too.

Disliked: Dog hair! But it's okay because we loved Fiona.

Liked: The B&B Maison is at a great location. Close to all major attractions in the city. The best part of the hostel was deffenetly the helpfulness and cheerfulness of the staff. Having breafkast and dinner included helped to save money, not to mention it was very tasty!

Liked: the 2 bathrooms were nice but getting BED BUGS!!!!! was very bad

Disliked: Myself and more then one other guest got Bed Bugs while there, not to mention it smelled of wet dog and cigarettes. The dog would bite you and your bags and sneak into the room and jump on your bed. They have wifi but he doesnt let you use it. If you want to use the internet you have to use his crappy laptop in the stinky kitchen and you only get 20 minutes a day. Also it's on the top floor with no lift and lots of stairs.

Liked: Definitely my favorite hostel I've ever stayed in. Lorenzo really is a wonderful host. The family dinners were a wonderful way to meet people and it was comforting getting to know the people in the hostel, it made me feel much safer there. The building itself was very clean and new and the rooms had character. The location was absolutely perfect, in a beautiful part of the city and only about a block from the Duomo. And you can't go wrong with the included breakfast and dinner!

Disliked: Could've used some more bathrooms...many times I had to wait to shower/use the bathroom. Also if you have pet allergies, don't stay here, since the family dog runs around.

Liked: I loved the location, you couldnt find anything better. The owner Lorenzo was amazing! He made me feel very welcome and he knows so much about the city and how to best get around and avoid lines, hes also a wonderful cook. I cant eat any gluten so every night he would make something on the side for me. Im planning on going back to florence next year and i am going to be staying with them again

Liked: The space, close to the centre and easy to find.

Disliked: communal area was the hostel owners bedroom so a bit weird. Place felt unclean but was OK.

Liked: Location is great.

Disliked: sure for the prize you can't expect high standard. some rooms a walkthrough. in the upper kitchen where there is also breakfast is dog hair at many spaces. if you have problems with dogs don't go there. not all of the staff speak english, some only spanish. And if you complain the staff gets mad easily and offers you to look for another hostel, what is not so friendly, but after you sorted the problems out they are friendly.

Liked: Friendly staff and perfect location! Cheap.

Disliked: Hard to sleep because there was no sound muffling so it was like sleeping on the street. But there where better rooms inside the buildning if you were lucky. The breakfast was ok i guess, but I needed a second one. Had to share a blanket the first night and the beds were not comfortable.
