Leonardo's Land Hostel provides guests with a unique hostelling experience. Surrounded by beautiful olive groves and vineyards Leonardo's is the perfect place to escape and relax.

We offer guests a complimentary breakfast, free linen, free station transfers, 2 fully serviced bars (one next to the pool ,opened when needed), a full service restaurant, reception 09:00-15:00 and 19:00-23:00, a gym (5 euro for entire stay-15:00-19:00) and a beautiful pool (july and august the pool is closed on mondays for cleaning, also guests need a swim cap -bring your own or buy one here for 2.50 euro). The pool is closed for the winter from 15th October.

Internet is 2 euros per hour.

We offer a free shuttle bus from Florence.Our shuttle only makes pick-ups twice a day. In the morning at 10:30am in Florence or at 20.00pm in the evening in Pistoia.

Accommodation Information

Our hostel has a big open dining room, a large kitchen and many common rooms and outside areas for chilling out. Our dorms are mixed or female private 4 beds. We also have private twin, double and triple rooms with bathroom ensuite for those looking for more privacy. We are in a Denuclearized zone(energy conservation) so for the month of October we only have heating in the main building as well a fire place,the rooms are not heated.

All our rooms let the Tuscan sunshine in! They have big windows with beautiful views of Tuscany.

Location Information

We are located in San Baronto, a small town 40 Km from Florence, in the Chianti region. From here guests will be able to explore the best Tuscany has to offer- after all Tuscany is so much more than Florence!

We are centrally located and within easy reach of the most famous Tuscan villages with our free shuttle(TO FLORENCE) or local bus (mon -sat) to Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano and Siena !

We offer bike rentals (8 euro per day) so you can freely check out the local area, and have a chance to see the vineyards Tuscany is so famous for, the great artwork in the pope's villa and the hometown of Leonardo da Vinci and the Museum of Vinci to check out some of Leonardo's most famous works.
