Staff was very helpful on arrival, showing all main points of interest in Firenze on a map they gave us, showing main bus lines, etc..
Free internet and clean rooms.

The warm welcome by the owners was wonderful. The owner gave us a map of Firenze and showed all the good sites that we should visit. The coffee and tea and breakfast facilities at the hostel were a nice added bonus. Next time I go to Firenze I will definitely stay at this hostel again! If you are going to Firenze and are looking for a nice quiet and relaxing hostel I recommend this one.

The individual running the hotel was extremely kidn and helpful. We were very pleased with the size of the room for the money charged. The bathroom was clean and decent size. I would recommend Soggiorno Madrid for anyone.

This is more like a nice small hotel. The people were very nice. It is quiet and newly remodeled. The location would work for spending the day in Rome or Venice and returning here at night. We did a day train trip to Venice and it worked out very nicely.

Location was bit out from the centre but not far to walk, rooms were spacious, clean and you are provided with tea coffee and cakes in your room.

The perfect place for a couple or family wishing to visit Florence. Very safe/secure, friendly and helpful staff and in good proximity to the central station, however a little bit of a walk to the main centre of town.

Very large room for three people, air con, excellent shower room/lavatory, tea and coffee in room, owner/manager very helpful - booked us reservations at Uffizi and Academia, gave us map and marked best places to go and what to avoid to prevent being ripped off.

It is really nice hostel. Not far from railway station, clean and helpful staff. It is a great place to stay for a few days.

Franceso, the owner is really friendly and helpful. The place is kept very tidy. A little snack along with the tea and coffee is also a nice addition everyday.

Very clean and tidy, good breakfast. Internet connection included in service. A bit close to the main street - traffic gets quite noisy during the night.

the guy at the reception was very helpful, from addressing all of our questions to helping us book various tours (while also offering helpful suggestions). it was also a 15-minute walk to the train station.

It was really clean and we were provided with breakfast snacks (even though this was just in the room)
The only negative was that the rooms were very noisy as it was on a main road....

Francesco, the clerk, was very helpful and accommodating. He went out of his way to help us make tour bookings, call taxi cabs for us because we didn't speak Italian, give us restaurant recommendations, etc. We felt quite at home at Soggiorno Madrid.
