Liked: Clean and comfortable hostel rooms. Friendly staff. Good location.

Disliked: Breakfasts are not very good (without any hot meals, only jam, toasts, juice and tea/coffee).

Liked: Good location, reasonable price, and easily the most helpful staff on hand I have experienced in Europe. Facilities were great, and it was close to the Central Train station which suited us well.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Very large, clean room with spacious bathroom. Secure location, daily cleaning. Location is on the wrong side of the train station, but for the price, it was not a big issue. 15min walk from central train station.

Disliked: Location - however, Florence is quite compact, so it didn't make a huge difference to us. If you aren't up for an extra 15min walk to the centre (each way) then perhaps stay closer to the centre.

Liked: Short walk to old city and Uffizzi, Duomo, and the sculpture in the squares.

Disliked: Traffic was noisey at night and the air conditioning was not very good. Breakfast was minimal with juice, coffee, and packaged pastry. got bit by mosquitoes during the night when we left windows open. Buy repellant.

Liked: Staff were amazing!!! Helpful with all inquiries and requests. Spacious and clean rooms. Also very close to the city centre and 5 mins walk from the main train station. Very pleased with my stay here

Liked: very clean and tidy. had everything you could want for a couple. even free wi-fi (but i don’t know it was the hostels’) cleaning everyday, fresh towels every second day, air conditioned so that your window was left closed the whole time and you never heard the traffic outside.

Disliked: only downside was the location – quite far from the city centre, still, in 20 to 30 minutes you could reach every sight and »piazzo« by foot easily. breakfest was okay – in case you like your food packaged in tiny plastic bags. still ok.

Liked: our room was big, we paid for double twin but there was an extra bed in the room. staff (francesco) was a smily faced guy and helpful.

Disliked: internet connection was so slow and most of the time it wasn't connected at all.

Liked: We stayed 2 nights and it was wonderful, staff was very helpfull and friendly and room was very clean. Hostel was like a at least 3 star hotel. It is 10 minutes walk from the main terminal and if you start your city tour as a circle from the castle it is too close. They told us real Italian restaurants whom were cheap and really delicious. It was a beautiful Florence vacation. Thanks to hostel so much. Looking forward to come again

Liked: Room felt like a mini apartment. Asked to private triple with bathroom and got a split level room with beds downstairs and bathroom and living area upstairs. Was great to have space to chill out. Also very quiet. Good location. 10 mins from main station. Great little restaurant around the corner. Ate there every night.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Our room and ensuite bathroom was very clean; cleaned daily by staff while we were out. Very good air-conditioning, included in the price. Staff were friendly and the area was safe and easy to get to from the station. Breakfast (cakes, toast & jams, juice and tea) was left in our room for when we returned and was free of charge. :-)

Disliked: Was a little walk out of the centre of town. 10-15mins walk from the station but quite a walk from other places in town. Apart from that, it's a great place.

Liked: Soggiorno Madrid was so classically elegant and clean.The officer was very helpful who introduced us the scenic spots, local food & good restaurants,he even made reservation for Uffize tickets for us. He made our trevel in Florence more wonderful.Thank you very much.

Liked: - Good english of the staff and useful information (including city map) - Breakfast is on the table in the room ( + a water boiler), so you can have coffee or tea during the day whenever you want! - very very clean - High speed Wi Fi internet in the room (+ a PC outside the room) - Quiet at night

Disliked: - No fridge in the room - Breakfast can be richer (no butter, no cheese) - Air conditioning system was a bit noisy in our room - After 9 PM there is no one at the recepition, just security gaurd of the whole building (But there was a phone number for emergency situations)

Liked: It was a good deal for the price with a decent location, accommodation, and very helpful staff.

Disliked: There was not enough windows or sunlight coming in, but we weren't in the room much so it wasn't the biggest problem.

Liked: Great room and bathroom. Very spacious. Appreciated having a safe in the room for valuables.

Disliked: Noise from the hall in the room and vice versa. A bit of a hike from the centre of town but nor too much of a problem if you don't mind walking. Small shower.

Liked: very clean and almost like a hotel

Disliked: very far from main area & staff were hardly ever in the building. we had issues with checking out (no one was there at 8:30am so we had to leave our luggage in our room and take the key until later in the day), we ran out of toilet paper one day at 3pm when they had left so we had to buy some, and the fuse blew as well and we had to wait until they came the next morning to reset it so we were in darkness. between the lack of available staff and far location, i would definitely not return. staff were generally there between 10am-2pm and that's all. no way to contact them outside those hours were given

Liked: Big room, air conditioning, wifi, friendly service, the breakfast was simple but there was enough to fill you up in the morning.

Disliked: next to a busy road, I had no trouble sleeping but my friend complained about it one night.

Liked: It was very clean and the staff were very helpful. We felt we were part of the local scene

Disliked: It was on a very busy corner although traffic noise was not a problem crossing the road took time as there were three roads to cross although traffic lights were at each intersection.
