Eugene MarshallIt was top class. Each room had tea and coffee facilities, private ensuite... the place is peaceful and the rooms have TV. Beds were comfortable... We were getting the quality of a 3 star hotel for the price of a 2 star hostel. |

Customer reviewThe staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size and were nice and clean. The hostel provides internet which is handy and pamphlets for nearby laundry and other services. The location is about a 10 minute walk from the station and its a nice easy walk. There is a great pizza place around the corner from this hostel which was awesome - highly recommend that too! It's not a big 'party' hostel and we were defintely not looking for parties so the hostel was perfect for us! |

Ruaidhri WalkerExceptionatly clean and the staff were very helpful to myself and my partner, we had a guide book but the staff got a leaflet map for us and put marks down where useful bustops and good museums and churches were. only two potential downsides i could find with this hotel. it's distance from the center of Florence, it's about a 15 minute walk to the train station, and from there another another 10 to the center, not a terrible shame though, as food was cheaper near the hotel. secondly the hotel is next to an insane main road. this was both surprisingly dangerous to cross, even with the safety crossings, and very noisey if you have windows open. Thankfully i visited in january so there was no real need to have the window open and when shut, they blocked out a large amount of noise. but i can imagine that in the summer it could be awkward heat wise. overall though a clean basic hotel, cheap and cheerful. well worth a try. |
