Liked: The hostel was close to the main train station and only a short walk to the city centre. There's a supermarket nearby. The beds were very comfortable. The communal showers were warm and private. The staff were understanding even though we booked the wrong dates and arrived a week early, giving us the room for the same price. We were able to store our luggage in a room on the last day.

Disliked: The extra 10% tourist tax was a surprise for us. Housekeeping took away our cups after the first night and never replaced them.

Liked: Very clean. Staff was very helpful especially with language because I spoke no Italian. A computer with free internet provided in the lobby.

Disliked: Wireless internet only worked in the lobby area.

Liked: I loved this place :) It was the perfect location, you can literally walk every from this place, it's really close to the San Lorenzo Market (great shopping) and the Duomo which are must see places. It wasn't super fancy but i liked it better because it was simple anyways, and it was very clean with nice bathrooms and had AC and a lift. The staff wasn't always super helpful, depending on who was there, but overall I would definitely give this place an A+ :) Thanks for a great stay!!

Disliked: only that the staff wasn't always helpful, but it wasn't that big of a deal, it was only one of the staff members who wasn't helpful- you get that everywhere you go anyways, so i wouldn't let that keep you from staying at this great place. Otherwise nothing else, even the directions to the hostel were easy to follow.

Liked: The free computer in the entrance is ok and the staff was really kind to receive us at 3am for making the check-in.

Liked: We had a twin room for just me and another friend. We paid 18euros a night, ABSOLUTE BARGAIN, it was tidy and clean. They even had power showers and the bathrooms were clean etc. Location is brilliant, only like 3mins walk from the central station and buses. The man who worked at reception was very helpful and very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay there, would definately recommend this place!

Disliked: Maybe a tad noisy at night because of its central location and near a busy street, and I couldn't access wifi in my room - but thats ok as theres a free comp by reception that I could use anyway.

Liked: It is in the perfect location to the train station and all of the sites. It just minuets from shopping and the Duomo. The staff was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for food and sights. And they spoke very good English!

Disliked: I was expecting a real breakfast, not something wrapped in plastic. The tea kettle was not clean, but once brought to management attention the cleaned/replaced it. The bathroom was not cleaned daily which meant the dirt from our shoes build up making the floor nasty by the 3rd day.

Liked: Very clean, spacious high ceilinged rooms. Free internet access, which is unlimited, providing another guest doesn't want to use it. Breakfast was small, but we were provided with a kettle and mini fridge/freezer in our rooms which was very useful. Also there was a coffee machine just outside the rooms, with 55cent coffee, which was actually very nice! Shower rooms were very clean, and the shower its self was great- even had a jacuzzi setting! Good location- very close to the train station.

Disliked: Overall a very nice place to stay and good value for money, only slight negative was that the room was rather noisy at night, due to being located on a busy road.

Liked: The most I like is the location of the house. Secondly, I like the mattress. It let me fall asleep quickly!

Liked: I liked having a fridge and hot water heater in the room. Nice big windows and high ceilings. I also liked how secure it felt -- one key for the front door, one key for your floor, and then a third for your room.

Disliked: One night it was loud, as someone forgot their key or maybe were trying to check in too late, but they were ruthlessly ringing the buzzer in the middle of the night.

Liked: Location close to transportation, air conditioning, room refrigerator, TV and large bathroom. Also we appreciated the elevator since we were lugging heavy bags. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Disliked: Opportunity for breakfast would have been nice but not essential to our comfort level as the hotel was very reasonably priced.

Liked: Nice bedroom with a mezzanine. A free computer terminal to get on the internet. Snacks, coffee, and tea provided in the room. Very good air conditioning. Comfortable bed and quiet.

Disliked: The computer is only available during reception hours. The door to the bedroom floor does not close itself automatically and could have been left opened when no one is around. A security breach.

Liked: Very close to the train station (5 minutes walk) and in the center of Florence (just by the san lorenzo market, 10 minutes from the Duomo), the location is perfect. The rooms are big and comfortable, with airconditioning - which is a must in the summer - and very clean. Helpful and nice staff. Although they don't offer breakfast, some crackers and croissants and instant coffee were in the room, just in case we needed them.

Disliked: Pretty noisy outside, even late at night, so we had to keep the windows shut until early hours of the morning.
