Liked: Old building~ I like old building.

Disliked: Bed looks not very clearn. one of our bed was not clearn when we lived in and staff never cam back to clearn it

Liked: Location. Oh and we got a free t-shirt.

Disliked: This place was a disaster. Had previously e-mailed the time we would be there, which was like 2pm. When we got there we were ringing the bell for 20 minutes trying to get in. Finally let in. The person was inside the whole time doing who knows what as we were outside in the rain. Didn't take credit cards even though it said so online and there was a credit card sign inside. Also added on extra tourist fees. Would have been nice to know about that when I e-mailed them before our visit. There was a family of 5-6 staying in a room that only had 2 twin beds. This made for long lines in the 2 bathrooms. Both bathrooms have showers, but one looks more like a prison shower. The hallway was dark. It just felt super creepy.

Liked: We had a great time in Florence, the hostel was close to the train station and all the main attractions, te rooms were great, we made our reservation in a private room shared bathroom and they gave us a private bathroom without extra cost, so that was pretty nice, fast Internet and equipped kitchen, also if you don't have a laptop they have one there for you to use.

Disliked: They offered free coffee tea and cereal, but during our stance we never got cereal, the thing was always empty and no one was never around refilled it, but coffee and tea was ok

Liked: it was very cozy...they were very considerate...left handwritten notes for us in the room and on the boards..n sweets as a welcoming gift..very thoughtful n the kitchen was really useful for us...

Disliked: the toilets was a problem..bcos the water supply wasnt great... if both toilets were used at the same time...water pressure is very low..the water was practically dripping...

Liked: The owners of the hostels are so nice and friendly, making self check-in so easy and convenient for people who arrive outside of the normal check-in time. provides all the information that we need upon our arrival

Disliked: abit of a walk from the main train station but near other tourist attractions.

Liked: Excellent location for walking to all the main attractions in Florence, and very close to train station. Kitchen was also great as eating out every night in Florence was becoming expensive.

Disliked: Shower had mold on the ceiling, but was otherwise clean.

Liked: Very friendly staff, free t-shirts, discounted breakfast, excellent location--walking distance everywhere, good wifi.

Disliked: Showers were unclean, and rooms were the most clean either.

Disliked: The bathroom was disgusting and the smell made me want to vomit. The curtains were covered in mould and the shower drain was blocked causing it to flood. I feel sick just writing this comment!

Liked: This property was a cheap rent (which is the only reason I would really recommend it...if you can't afford better). It has a good kitchen to cook in that is very well cleaned. The bathroom seemed clean except for the shower. Our room was nice because it had a small balcony (I believe it was the only room that had it). The check in time was very flexible.

Disliked: We never actually "checked-in" or "checked-out." We got the code for the door to get in and when we left, we put our money on the desk in the room when we left. I was a little uncomfortable with that, but it seemed to work out well. The shower was pretty gross. Seemed like they needed to deep clean the track that the sliding door was on and the ceiling definitely had a bit of mold growing. Other than that, this place was actually quite clean.

Liked: I stayed just for a night in a single room with shared bathroom. Highly recommendet for low budget travellers.

Liked: Very good localization, nice atmosphere and amazingly helpful owners of the hostel. Rooms are very nice and clean.

Liked: The staff were great and helped us to be able to stay an extra night when we realized we wanted to stay in Florence. It is a great hostel!

Liked: It is located in an old building, so you get to taste a bit of the local life :) Two bathrooms for all the guests could be a little busy, but you generally do not have to wait (long) as people have got different schedules and are friendly.

Disliked: The guesthouse was not well-marked, so I passed it twice before finally found it.

Liked: The brothers that own this hostel are very nice. They were helpful with everything I asked for. There was free wifi and a computer available for use in the foyer. It is very close to the leather market.

Disliked: It was very cold and there was no heat. Clean towels are not provided every day.

Liked: great place. great location. and AMAZING staff. Carlo and his brother will bend over backwards for you. Free breakfast, comforting stay, and all around a great experience. definitely coming back.

Disliked: couldnt get in at first, but called and everything was fine!
