Liked: great common area to meet people and the breakfast was the best i have had so far.

Disliked: no one outside of the hostel was allowed in, so if you made friends from another place they couldnt join you for a drink or just to hangout

Liked: amazing hostel. The free breakfast was the best we have had in europe andthe rooms were fantastic. By far the best hostel we have stayed at in europe!!!!

Liked: This place is AWESOME. Pretty large so a lot of people to meet. And they do not care if you BYOB though they also sell drinks at the front. Nice outdoor area where people tend to gather and meet. Breakfast included is delicious. Probably the best Hostel I stayed at in during my whole month long trip.

Liked: Great hostel! A lot bigger than I expected, but the rooms were quite big and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and seemed to always be there! Free breakfasts were delicious, as were the cheap dinners. Only suggestion would be hand soap in the bathrooms! Otherwise I loved it.

Liked: This hostel offers serious free breakfast, which is quite unusual for a hostel. (not a tiny piece of dryish bread but scramble egg or sunny side egg and ham and bread, etc, plus drink such as cappuccino or orange juice. Also this hostel gives a free internet access and a computer right in your room, which i had never seen before. They decorate their hostel with impressively beautiful roman statures in the patio, almost better than an average hotel (compared to hotels, not hostels) and they got a serious mural painter, who painted their internal wall with Michelangelo kind of themes. They've got an elevator and a very close location to the main train station & friendly staff as well. One of the best hostels which I've been to.

Liked: Very good free breakfast and cheap, yummy dinners. Great communal areas. Our only complaint was that the windows to everyones rooms opened up to a communal courtyard where they allow groups of people to drink and get loud and obnoxious til way ofter midnight, even though there are signs posted that quiet time starts at 23:00. They kept us up both nights we were there.

Liked: Great breakfasts - you get to pick from a few options that include eggs, omlettes, and toast, and they make it for you on the spot. Best hostel breakfast I saw on my trip. There is also a great courtyard and balcony where people often hang out in the evenings before or after going out. It's a really nice place to sit, have a few drinks, and maybe meet some other people staying at the hostel. The location is good too - it's not central, but it's close to the train station and within walking distance from the Duomo and basically everything else in the city. The free walking tour was also a great way to see a lot of the city and learn more about some of the many churches and other landmarks in the city's rich history, including many landmarks that may not be on the standard Florence itinerary. Beware that they have two connected buildings, and if you're not in the main building, you may not have a computer or safe in your room, so double check if you're looking for those. There are a bunch of computers in the lobby though, which provide free internet access.

Liked: Excellent location, close to the main station and all the sites. the cheap dinners are amazing, best value for 2.5 euro! it is a big hostel so keep in mind there will be a lot of people around...a couple of nights there were a few ignorant canadians just talking crap the whole night whilst others were trying to sleep..but other than a bit of harmless annoyances the hostel is great!

Liked: Great location....super close to the train station. The free walking tour in the morning was a nice way to meet people. Kitschy decor, fun place to be.

Liked: From all hostels that I have stayed, so far this is the BEST HOSTEL ever! The location is just 10 minutes walking from the central train station. The staff are very very nice, they have free wifi all day long, the room is spacious with ensuite bathroom & very clean too (the bathrooms are separated into toilet only & with showers, 2 in a room). They also have huge luggage lockers and a computer in the room. The best part is that they serve cheap food, only 5 euros for a big portion of spaghetti and chicken nugget with salad. The portion is so big that you can actually share with 1 other person. Their interior is also very nice, they have replicas of roman statues all over the place. Overall, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone to stay here.

Liked: archi rossi is really easy to find. it has great facilities & the free walking tours of the city were good to get your bearings. free hot breakfast every morning, i would definitely recommend this to other travellers,

Liked: This place was great, from the restaurant to the free walking tours, we could not have asked for more. We did both of the tours and they were a great way to get to know the city on a budget. The restaurant was perfect, who can complain about a super cheap, filling, good meal?
